Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

yes also the 2000 points every time you spend $40.
Hopefully it is every time. Will have a bucket full of QFF points if it is!

I have the same until june 30th ... only just opened the snail mail.

Effectively a $10 discount or whatever 870 QFF is worth.

You need to buy something that they have on deep special.

But yes BWS I think of like a convenience store for alcohol and so is generally pricey. Normally there is something that is an ok to good buy. so if I gain a good Points deal I just have a quick look after my grocery shop.

OK; I thought that might be the case. My local BWS and Dan's stores are both within 2km of home so they are both "convenient" for me. I'll have a wander through BWS next time I'm at Woolies and see if any of their "deep specials" take my fancy.

Thanks for the reply.

So I called into BWS and was able to find some multi-bottle discounts that were good value. I didn't see them online.

Picked up a few lots of 2,000 points.

I've just seen the largest targeted bonus point offer ever from Woolworths Rewards and Woolworths mobile.

It's offering 96,000 Woolworths Rewards points which is equivalent to $480 Woolworths Dollars.

Of course, there are lots of catches.

The 96,000 points are paid at 4,000 points per month ($20WWD) and in order to get the points you have to sign up to a mobile phone plan for 24 months.

The cheapest plan amongst those offered in the deal is $70 for the phone plus 8 GB of data. This works out as a $50 per month plan once you take into consideration the return in Woolworths dollars. The cheapest plan before the cash back is $1680 across the 24 months.

I have no idea whether $50 for 8GB of data and a phone is a good price so I don't know if it would be any use to other members.

I pay less than $20 per month on my mobile phone on prepaid charges so the offer isn't any use to me.

It says on the Woolworths Mobile page that I get directed to that it is only for a selected amount of members so it sounds like it is a targeted offer. It's the first targeted offer I've seen with branding under both Woolworths Rewards and Woolworths Mobile.

when you describe it like that it doesn't sound that attractive

21,750 points went into QFF yesterday.. Really good earn on Qantas Epiqure at the moment. 15000 QFF bonus points for some half decent cases of 12 for $360. Thats $1440 for 60,000 QFF points, the same as the new card offer where you need to spend $3000 for 60,000. You also get a $100 gift card for over $1000.

Okay managed to combine a few offers yesterday.

I purchased $120 of goods at WW earning the second week target (was $65) to earn 4,000 WW points plus the WW credit card target (was $100) to earn 4,000 QF bonus points.

Also earned a 10% off on the weekend spend ($12) on WW credit card so paid $108 (I'm rounding here) in addition to the $31 of discounts on specials. Lastly ensured I bought the three qualify items for latest WW promotion draw (all on sale).

I love it when I can combine a few offers together and purchase items I would have anyway (but in one shop instead of multi shops).

No offers from Woolworths today. With the 2 week offers ending today I thought there would be another round of offers out by email today in order to start again tomorrow. I'll probably use the Woolworths dollars on my account this week for top up shopping and only spend the bare minimum on fresh foods and specials. The points for the 2 weeks offers were credited straight away which I was very happy about.

Happy to see the points convert to all 5 accounts - in full and on time. Have kicked started the new qtr by completing 2 x 2 week offers (8K & 5.5K). Lucky I booked a midday flight home from MEL today... we've only just managed to squeeze a shop in by the 6pm close.

they miss me ... targeted offer of 12000 bonus points for 2 week spend of $170(can be multiple shops) but at my local Woolies. would have liked the target just abit lower but have a daughter home for a couple of weeks and she likes eating lots

I got this today..

Hi Dr Ralph,

No strings, no catches - just 250 bonus points delivered straight to your savings.

Just hit the ‘boost my savings’ button and 250 points will be automatically added to your balance.'

This sounds similar to the Flybuys/Velocity promo that just went on - Link your accounts and you could win flights/Flybuys points/Virgin vouchers. The catch was that if you had previously linked your accounts, you were ineligible to enter the promotion. I wonder if this is the same (although it doesn't specifically say first-time linkers)

My wife got the same email - after not having any offers since December 2016...happily taken off their hands

200 points when I purchase 3 cans of WW generic can cat food. No thanks. Cat wouldn't eat it, even if he was starving.

Buy and then donate to a cat shelter. Purchase becomes a donation if to a registered charity and they give you a receipt. Then again, their cats might do the same...
