Two of our family members got the 30/40/50 offer. Should be able to use both as we are stocking up on stuff at the moment. One offer had the reward of points and the other got the money off instantly.

Wife also received offer of 800 bonus points for purchasing a Four n Twentys 4pk pies.

How many people ever look at the docket deals (back of the receipt) on a regular basis?

I used to every time when they first started but after a decade or more of disappointment it is probably less than 1 in 50 or so.

Familiarity breeds contempt?

To all of those that often wonder if stopping spending increases offers, I offer the following.

I have been OS since July 1. In the last week all of my accounts (5 of them) received the same offer. Spend 30/40/50 over three weeks to get 6000 points. All accounts have been inactive since the same date. All accounts have different email and physical addresses.

Never worked for us unfortunately - we have two accounts (same physical address, different emails) but I'm the only one who swipes the cards, so if I'm away, they don't get used. Have been away several times for up to 5 weeks in the past year or so (most recently in March/April) and it's made no difference whatsoever to the offers we get, and have certainly never received anything like the 30/40/50 offer you've received - in fact, the spend targets keep going UP, despite the fact that we don't spend a lot each week on groceries in any one store (shopping is split between Aldi, WW and Coles). Offers also seem to have become few and far between, nothing for about 3-4 weeks now.

Oh Wow! I thought our family was lucky getting 2 offers like that in the same week. I don't think I'd be able to use all the offers if all of our family members got the same offer starting in the same week.

As we rotate the cards, I can usually spread out the offers and don't have to miss out on them.

Close your account and open a new one is my advice.

Tried that a few months ago with my husband's account, just to see what would happen - hasn't made a blind bit of difference unfortunately :( Mind you, at least we get SOME offers from WWR, which is more than I can say for Flybuys, but that's a subject for another thread (rant) which I'm writing at the moment LOL.

We were away for 8 weeks and the only offer I have had is the buy a particular product for bonus points. e.g. raison toast for 400 points. But I never buy the raison toast unless it is on special.

First offer I get for weeks, and it's totally useless **sigh**.

"MEMBER EXCLUSIVE OFFER. Earn 100 points when you purchase Devondale Smart Plus 1L or Devondale Point One 1L Long Life Milk" have never even HEARD of either of these products, let alone purchased them, and am never likely to purchase them either. Come ON Woolworths Rewards, surely you can do better than this.
