Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Another cough offer from WWR today - after rejecting several bonus points offers in recent months because the spend target was too high, I receive this offer, which starts tomorrow: "Activate now and earn 5x points instantly". Ok, that would be great BUT I don't get the extra points unless I "Simply spend $100* in one or more transactions by Sunday, 6th August." What is it about "the spend target is too high" don't they understand?????

I'm up to a requirement of $110 (but I'll get 1,700 point for that). Not much chance.

Nice little offer from one of the better Woolies Stores in Melbourne.

I wonder if the new competition next door ( Ie New concept Aldi ) is having much impact and hence the store specific offer?

I'm wondering if WW has figured out the profitability of each member's visit to a WW store. The follow-on is that if you are "good" at buying mainly "special" and "promotional" items, you don't get any offers (which would make you even less profitable).

On my best trips, the savings listed at the bottom of the docket is 40-50% of the docket total. Normally 10-15%.

Just wandering

Talk about timing. Before competing the 10,000 two week bonus offer yesterday .... this popped up - seamless!

Seems there is a hack of sorts happening to W Rewards at the moment...
Woolworths Rewards cards ‘hacked’, points stolen

W played with a straight bat...

In a statement, a Woolworths spokesman said the supermarket was “monitoring customer feedback”. “Although our investigation shows there is no issue with the functionality and security of the app, we are reviewing how the app experience can be better improved to provide further assurances for customers,” he said.
“We work hard to ensure our customers’ shopping experience is efficient, seamless and importantly, safe and secure. We take our obligations in relation to customer data very seriously, and have robust controls in place to ensure customer expectations of privacy and security are met.
“We have a continuous program of security enhancements and our apps are constantly reviewed for any improvements in functionality and security. If customers require further information please contact us on 1300 767 969.”

If I am not mistaken Smiths Crinkle Cut chips 150-170g are on special for $1, McCains 500g pizzas cost $6.50 and Continental Cup a soup 2 pack costs $1. That would make my wife offers above excellent or am I missing something?

Prices change tomorrow (wednesday) with the new catalogue. is it tomorrow already! I'm really tired. I couldn't see anything about Smiths chips but I am guessing you are quoting the smaller size special price. The standard price for the Continental cup a soup is $2. I buy it when it is at half price special at $1. Coles have it at $1 starting tomorrow. Both places have it at half price so often I can't remember what the Woolworths price was today or will be Wednesday. Our store doesn't always have it marked correctly. I'm going to bed. All these grocery prices are starting to blur. Happy points hunting.

Mrs Flying Brick got the same offer but can be used for multiple purchases until 8/8.

I have no idea how much they are to buy but will have a look tomorrow and if the price is right will stock up on points.

Prices have changed already. Also I'm looking at Queensland prices which could be different.

Continental cup a soup is $2.00 but also has 8 for $10 online not sure if like that in store. That would make 8 x 2 pk cost $3? McCains pizza is still $6.50 so that's ok. Smiths chips up to $3.29 for $150-170g.

I've frozen butter before but I have no idea what the rules are.
