Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

only 1 account has received the offer - not sure why not the other 5??

They've been sending out the emails bit by bit during the day. Our first one arrived before 8am but it took until about 6pm for the last one to come through.

So fill your trolley/basket and then cause chaos by paying for them one-by-one scanning your card each time. What chances of winning then?

It doesn't work like that. The winners are drawn at a certain time each week. If you have multiple cards then it is only worth making that number of transactions each week. You don't get extra chances each week by making extra transactions.

Zounds! I have been hoisted with my own petard!

I decided to put "the popcorn anomaly"* to the test.

For those new to the story, let me catch you up. WW advertised in their printed and online catalogue popcorn for $1, with the added attraction of 72c WWR~ per packet. Unfortunately for them, the shelf tickets listed the saving as 72c and the WWR as 25c. When I raised this anomaly on AFF, I was challenged to put WW to the test by buying 14 packets and then complaining to WW when my $10.08 WWR did not eventuate. Well it seems that I did earn WWR0.72c per packet. Actually, after I left the store I realised that I had saved more than I had expected, but I won't be putting that online. ;)

Would anyone like some popcorn?^

*Perhaps a forthcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory.

^Considering this is not the "Free to a good home" thread I am not serious.

The items with bonus points are a waste of time - John West flavoured tuna $1.50 with 50c back. I regularly buy this at Coles on special for $1. Beanettes at nearly $10 a kilo for ? back, when the Coles price is currently $5 a kilo. They must think consumers are stupid.

Why spend $1.50 on tuna with cash back when the select tuna is already $1.

Just heard there are offers out there at the moment for Double Woolworths dollars for the next 4 weeks. I haven't received any offers on our accounts so it sounds targeted.

I'm not sure they will be any use for us as we are unlikely to purchase the orange ticket items due to pricing issues.

I was hoping for bonus X Woolworths dollars (or Woolworthless Dollars) for a set amount of a transaction like $50. That way we could spend the money on anything we wanted and still get rewarded.

Yup, I received the email to activate for double dollars for 4 weeks. Shame that when I clicked it I got a message that I don't have any offers :(

I guess that means it is not activated /shrug

That's what I was hoping for as well - a bonus related to total spend but no chance of that by the looks of it. I've been hard-pressed to even FIND many orange ticket items in our local Woolworths, and as you (and many others) have mentioned, pricing is the issue and I certainly don't intend buying an item at full price with a "bonus" few cents or, if I'm lucky, a dollar that I will get back at some time in the future when I finally manage to accumulate 10 Woolworths dollars, when I can walk to the other end of our shopping centre and buy the same item at a much cheaper price on special at Coles and get Flybuys points with it.

As mentioned in the other thread, I've received the "double Woolworths dollars" offer but as the activation doesn't seem to be working today for those who have tried it (despite the "Activate Now!" button), I'll try doing it tomorrow (so the activation is "within the offer period" as per the Ts & Cs) and see if it works then. Mind you, I doubt it will be of any use anyway!

Someone on OzBargain pointed out that you're limited to a maximum bonus of $10 over the 4 weeks per the T&Cs. Also that the bonus will be credited all at once on 17 Dec. I tried activating just now to to be told I have no offers.

Wife - double Woolworths dollars next 4 weeks
Me - double Woolworths dollars next 4 weeks

They must think consumers are stupid.

That was exactly my thought when I saw today that Select salad dressing with an orange sticker is now more expensive than branded products.

It made me so cross that I didn't alert them that they are selling rump steak that should be $18.90 per kilo (on special) at $13.99 per kilo because some numpty has printed the labels as "premium beef mince". Steak for dinner :) :)

I mentioned this in another thread, but this situation seems kind of hopeless for me personally.

The offers I've received in my inbox have been for cough that I have never bought, and never would buy given my allergy related food restrictions. There has got to be something seriously wrong with their data mining algorithm given that the targeted offers I'm getting to earn Woolworths Dollars are so far off the mark.

It's also been brought to my attention that WW will not be putting the stickers on fresh fruit and veg, which as a vegan, makes up the overwhelming majority of my weekly grocery shop. They claim to be the "fresh food people", but then exclude fresh food from the entire rewards scheme? Right.

Woolworths are hoping you will review your dietary requirements to earn Woolworths dollars on a range of exciting products?

Last week at my local WW there was a orange sticker on 1kg packs of sweet potato - spend $3.90 for $1 in rewards.

Has anyone else written (emailed) woollies to tell them they have lost a "loyal" customer as no reason to stay loyal! QFF points were on overall shop, not their selected offers. I haven't earned one woolli dollar in three weeks. They responded to email to assure me I could still earn QF til end December. But guess if enough disgruntled people complain who knows!!!!
