Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Just got the Double Woolworths $ for 3 weeks, same $10 max in T&C's.

And just throwing this out there, does anyone else think it's a $10 max due to system limitations the new program has?

This WOW dollars thing is a load of rubbish. We completed a $140 shop the other day to find we had not earned 1 dollar. Back to Coles we go

Probably more to do with them limiting liability.

Just heard there are offers out there at the moment for Double Woolworths dollars for the next 4 weeks. .

Hmm, I got the "double Woolworths Dollars" offer.

The problem is, I still remember my maths teacher from waaaay back when saying to us "anything times nought is still nought!" (or in today's terminology, ZERO!)

Got the 2 x earn offer and was in the market for tomatoes (we go through a lot).

Selling at $2.40 per kg with $1 per kg in Itchy and Scratchy Money. So I bit the bullet and purchased 5kg. :D (netting 40¢ per Kg).

Interesting to note this offer is on fresh food sold by weight.

Note it was to Multiples of 100g, so my 5.070kg purchase earned that [SUP]I[/SUP]+[SUB]$[/SUB]5.00 exactly.

I would be much more interested in this scheme if the rewards were based on total spend, not on whether they manage to con me into buying whatever products they are pushing that week (and which they have jacked up the price for anyway).

So head office lied to their staff...

Normally promo tickets (including these orange tickets, multibuys, etc) are loaded centrally per state by Buying and Marketing at Norwest and each stores systems staff print them out on Tuesdays to be put up on the Wednesday morning. Produce however gets a pdf of the orange tickets sent to the department manager/2IC in the daily comms on the Wed morning.
I wonder if Produce having a different way to get these tickets has anything to do with it.
I saw a comm come through saying that they have to use the tickets sent via the pdf as using the tickets loaded in the normal specials batch won't work.

Thank you for your insights into how things work.

I'm hoping for some orange ticket items in the fresh section. That might be the only way I am going to get any bonus dollars.

Anyone notice this week's catalogue mentions NOTHING about the Woolworthless dollars?

I know these catalogues are done weeks in advance, so not sure whether it was an oversight or they're trying to get you in the door to check for the tickets.

Yes noticed this as well. A big change from the past couple of weeks.

I got $10 on a $70 shop because I was an instant winner. First time I've used my card in months, and will probably be the second last (need to use the discount)!

I don't normally hit $70 but needed some turkey rolls to go with the main event!

I notice that Roger Corbett is back advising Woolworths again..... The best advice he could give is to ditch Woolworthless Dollars completely I would have thought.

I was having a quick look at the Woolworths Rewards facebook page the other day and I noticed at least one member had a targeted offer of a certain amount of money each week off their shop for 3 or 4 weeks once their transaction reached a certain amount. I think it was something like $20 or $25 off but the target needed was nearly $200. This offer wouldn't work for me as the targets are too high but at least it means that theses types of offers are still around and may come to more members.

The screen shots indicated that the offer was a recent offer, not an old offer. Someone did put up a screen shot of an old offer which was much better value and asked if there would be more offers like that in the new system. I didn't see a response from the Woolworths Reward rep.

The wife and I have had offers for double Woolworths dollars for 4 weeks. The other 3 accounts have not received a single offer.

Announced today. Had a comm posted around 2am from the head of supermarkets about it.

The catalogues aren't made weeks out. They are planned 2-3 weeks out when the specials for that week are worked out and that's just "this line will be in the catalogue". The store is emailed a black and white version of the catalogue a week before. They do change things. I have seen major changes between the emailed version and the final print a number of times.

I just got this targeted offer.

Want to earn up to $30 Woolworths Dollars? Simply activate your offer below and spend $95 each week in store at Woolworths during the next two weeks.

Your weekly spend doesn't need to be in a single shop – you just need to spend $95* in total for the week and scan your card at the checkout.

Mine is $125 per week for $40. Definitely out of reach.

At least it's accumulative totals (I tend to do smaller shops), and not needing one large one.
