Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Starting to get boosts now coming through for what looks like third parties:

10 points per dollar at Superpharmacy (excluding prescription and pharmacist only medicines) until 30 June. Suspect this one is a general offer as it's also listed on the Superpharmacy website.

22 current offers on my account all for 50, 100, 300 etc points. I can't keep up and quite frankly have lost all interest. Need to keep in mind that most of the offers relate to products which are not on special which is not how I tend to shop.

Have picked up almost 50K in bonus points from Coles in the last 8 weeks with normal shopping, I think I'll be staying there the way things are going.

This is exactly my experience.

The offers from Woolies are just rubbish and provide no encouragement to actually shop with them and spend money.

Coles on the other hand, seem to have their act together and know how to issue offers that encourage spend.

I must admit when Woolies had good offers I spent more than I should have.....I still have Kayo cards in a drawer from the last promotion! My spend at Woolies has declined enormously over the past few months.

The Coles offers can’t be sustainable can they? I’m pushing towards 50% back in points offers on top of half price specials from 4/6 family accounts.

For Woolworths, maybe it's a bit like the old days of the internet when providers tried to push data leeches off to another provider as they lost money on them...? Noting, that a lot of “normal shoppers” wouldn’t even know they are only getting 25cents in points (50) on a bag of spinach.

I agree. Coles is pumping out the offers, so I have been shopping there exclusively. They also have bonus point offers on items that are on sale, so it's a win-win. Woolworths never give targeted offers on sale items, so I rarely purchase their targeted offers. Woolworths has slipped big time, while Coles is excelling.

In my experience this is simply not true. I had at least two last week. However the Woollies offers on individual items are usually far less generous than Coles.

10x points for $30 spend on toys at Big W (5x for under $30 spend).

However, this is for select categories: Games/puzzles, preschool, girls toys, boys toys

This is a bit misleading. On the Big W site there are categories for games/puzzles and preschool. But there's no girls/boys categories, so I guess this means all toys?

Just seen that another colleague has mentioned the new Super pharmac_ tie in with WWR/EDR, so I have taken mine off.

Just have to aware that if your aim is to get flying rewards, VA2 now has started deeming themselves as a mid range carrier.
Some lounges closed due to Covid and voluntary admin, and not reopening, no international partnerships for the time being, no wide bodied planes for the time being, etc.
Personally, at this point in time, I have more "love" so to speak, with the WWR system than Coles.
2,000 WWR points for min $40 spent at BigW a few days ago, that was a very good offer.

Hmm, Pineappleskip, my latest offer from WWR/EDR for BWS is 5x points, (maybe 1 normal and 4 bonus, or 1 normal and 5 bonus)... for spending $60 or more.
But I get very bad gout from alcohol nowadays, so no more big spends at any grog shop.

I'm definitely ignoring my current BWS offer of 2000 points for $100 spend online with delivery.

I have never had anything delivered by BWS and I'm not about to start.

Boosts are back from tomorrow for me.....3500 for 2x $50 shops. Similar on at least 3 other family accounts.

I am not getting much joy from either Coles or Woolworths. The only points offers I get from Coles seem to be spend $100 or $110 in one shop within a 3 day timeframe. The latest multiple week offer was spend $80 each week on one spend for 10,000 points. Given my highest spend is $50 or $60 a week it is a stretch too far!!
In regards to Woolworths with luck I may get buy a certain item for 100 to 200 points.
Then this afternoon I receive an insulting offer of spend $60 on one shop for each of 2 weeks, and get 600 points each week!!
Not happy with either rewards scheme.
