Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

7x points at SuperPharmacy - I keep getting offers for SuperPharmacy and I have never boosted them let alone bought anything there. You would think that they would get the message!

7x points at Big W

5x points on total shop with a minimum $10 spend on fruit and veg.

Also lingering offers for Pet Culture (no pets) Origin, BUPA and Woolworths mobile.

Just completed 10K offers @ $50/wk and one account got spend $90 get 3,600, and the other got spend $80 get 3,200.

Much prefer to spend $200 (over 5 weekends) and get 10,000 points x 2 instead.

They obviously do not x-ray wallets when you enter the store. Mrs Prozac received this offer today;
Collect 400 points when you spend at least $30 ! RUFKM

Have a booster for 5 * points for paying with Everyday Pay which looks like it may supersede the Money app.
I got this too, used it today but suddenly there is no trace of this offer in the app. Not even as a completed offer! The thing is I also had a 5x points for spending $10 on fruit and veggies, so I should get 10x. I’ve only received 5x and I can’t find the Everyday Pay promotion because it was in app and it’s disappeared!

Mums account also has offer of spend $0.98 for 1,000 bonus points or spend $60 for 2,000 bonus points.

Currently looking at:
  • 5x points on shops until Jun 6 for paying via Everyday Pay - have tried once and failed, as I waited until the end of the shop; I think you need to scan Everyday Pay before you get started at the checkout (?)
  • 5 x points on total shop with $10 or more of fresh fruit & veg
  • 5x points on fresh seafood (those items only)
My wife and I haven't seen any big points offers for particular spend for a while now...

Nope, you shop as normal and a QR shows up on the card terminal at payment time. You scan it with the app and it pays.
That's what I did, but it just recognised and applied the EDR card from my wallet over RFID, and then asked for a traditional payment method as usual. I thought I saw something on the screen after it cleared for the next customer about 'scan to get started' with Everyday Pay?

but once you setup this Everyday Pay option as I just set it up the other day, I inserted my credit card & even a EDR gift card so it should pay using those already inserted payments types.
I will give it a go at some point.

Yeah, the payment methods (2 x credit cards) are loaded in my account already, as well... The issue was with the application of payment at the check-out (instore). I just found this, which seems to confirm what I saw, and need to do next time. Key is scanning before you start to put through your items:

I just happened to be on my way to pick up some groceries when I saw this so I just gave it a go at WW and I was able to pay with no issue at the end. I scanned nothing until I was ready to pay, at which point I scanned this:

The terminal then said "your Woolworths reward card has been added" and when I press the Pay button it didn't prompt for any payment and told me to take the items.

So I don't think it matters very much the order you do it in.

Same as what I tried - do you have an iPhone or an Android? I use iOS, and when I put the phone there to scan the QR code at the end, it simply switched over automatically to the WW EDR card in the Apple wallet and pinged that, and then the QR code was gone from the terminal, and it wanted a traditional payment method. Maybe I need to remove the card from the wallet...

That might be it - I'm using Android and after I scanned the card it loaded up the rewards app, but I don't have my rewards card in Google Pay so maybe that's why it worked okay for me.

OK - went to the shops just now for some lunch, and picked up a few items at WW while I was there. This time I started with scanning the QR code on the card terminal via the EDR app, and it worked fine from there. I didn't seem to get a chance to select a payment method at the end; it just went to the default cc, which is ok, but I'll take a closer look next time.

I'll use it through this 5x promo period for the next 3 weeks, but as I'm switching between EDR accounts shop-by-shop, it's not actually very helpful for me in the longer term. It was already easy enough to tap the EDR card in the wallet that I needed, and then tap the cc in the wallet to pay. This is the same number of steps (for me), just at different points.

Cheers,
Matt.

Yeah, I guess it depends on where you were coming from. For me, I had no EDR card in my phone wallet so I had to scan my EDR card to get the points, then either enter a gift card from the WW Money app or pay from Google Pay. Now all of the above is one step with the EDR app, plus I don't need to worry about splitting payments for the GCs as it does that automatically for me.

So easily from 3 steps down to 1 for me.

Staying slightly OT, how does the EDR app / account know what CC (or other payment method) to use? I don’t recall ever linking one nor see a way to do it.

EDIT: Ignore that. I found the setup!

My husband and I both got 5000 points for $50 spend online Healthylife. I took it up on my account. The order hasn't even been picked yet and the QF points already are in my account. Healthylife has some good deals on diet supplements, I guess a good excuse to lose weight lol!

This week I've got three boosters loaded:
  1. Collect 4000 bonus points after spending $80 each week for 2 weeks (I'm currently in week two)
  2. Collect 3x Qantas Points on your next shop when you spend $80
  3. Collect 5x points when you use Everyday Pay
Today I spent $81 at Woolies and paid using Everyday Pay. I can see from my account that the 4000 bonus points were credited immediately. However, so far as I can tell items (2) and (3) haven't been credited yet. I'm guessing there is a waiting period before those points get credited? Also, for the 3x Qantas Points offer I'm guessing those points will post directly to my QF account and not EDR account?

I've done it both ways (i.e. before scanning any items, and after scanning all items but before payment) and always received the points from the offers I had activated.

Received the same offer, and will take them up on it too since Healthylife is one of best places to get Rapid Antigen Tests on the cheap. I may even get supplements there if the price is right!
