Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

100 points bonus per macro organic product.

I purchased 3 oats today and got 300 points does not seem to be capped.

Also 100 points for each Woolworths eggs.

Not sure why they keep offering bonus points for everyday staples that I would buy regardless bonus points or not. Things like eggs, milk, etc. weird .

  • To get you to buy their home brand or others with more margin (recessions are a good time to prove to the middle market that home brands are viable alternatives)
  • To get you to shop at woolies instead of coles, increasing your likelihood to buy something else while you're there (maybe a lettuce?)
  • To increase your frequency of shopping at woolworths
  • To shift excess stock
  • To make you feel like you're getting something for nothing, lowering your guard, and getting you to buy something
  • To make suppliers feel like they need to pay for trade promotions and pay for woolies points in order to do the same, thus generating extra revenue
Or, maybe their targeting is just broken :D

10 x points on toys at BigW
This would be handy for me! My 6YO boy got his hands on the Big W Toy Mania catalog the other day, and started circling choices. I knew things were getting out of hand when he came back after a while doing, to ask dad for the pencil sharpener...

Cheers,
Matt.

I've been overseas for the past few months so obviously haven't shopped at Woolies during that time. Got this offer in my inbox recently with a minimum spend amount of $0.98:

I arrive back in Australia on 11 July, so don't think I'll be able to take advantage of it.

I posted above wife had offer of spend $50 x 2 weeks for 3,000 bonus points.

Shopped $51 on 24/Jun/22 and on shopping docket mentions congratulations on completing first week and to wait up to 3 days for points.

No follow up email. Mums account received email that week 1/4 has been completed and to continue shopping.

Checked yesterday Saturday by clicking on link for wife's offer and has her 2 week offer as expired with X in week one and X in week 2.

No idea what's happened but last week's docket is fairly clear. Now for fun on trying to get points. Does everyday rewards accept email queries? I don't think I'm on wife's account and she's not back until October.

I really do not like to play this game when things go wrong. Need to waste a lot of time trying to get $15.

I think the same is going to happen to me this week. Second week of $80 for 4 weeeks. Ordinary points posted but Second week not ticked nor was their any comment on docket - normally says congratulations on your second week spend.

Has anyone had luck chasing up non booster applied points? They owe me like 3000 points from a Bigw order I did online like a month back. Did not register at all even know all details sit in the order when checking online. First real issue I've had with the program since ever.
