Eye Care Tips For Computer Users.........

Get an Eye test by an eye care quack - Medicare is good for one a year. Health funds pick up that tab too.

Maybe one eye is different from the other - quite normal or an astigmatism a type of refractive error of the eye. Discomfort is usually a sign those glasses are not for you.

If specifically for computers tell them optimise the focal distance from how far you are from your regular monitor. Otherwise shorter standard reading distance is NOT suitable.

Ethernet if you are referring to my post I did get tested and know I have a lazy left eye and need to use prescription glasses when looking at computer and reading.

My current prescription glasses cater for computer use at ~2 feet but also works for ~1 foot away and also for reading. Forget what the lens is called but there are 2 in 1. Maybe it is called bi-focal but not the way I remember bi-focal lenses with the insert at the bottom.

I also have a distance prescription which I will more than likely do early in the new year as I can then get another pair of glasses from Medibank. I may go for distance and computer use bi-focal lens so I can wear the glasses at work all the time.
