Family Pooling on Qatar flights

Flying with Qatar and will be flying with my Father also, he is part of my Family pooling....ive added his Velocity details to his booking, just wanting to confirm that ill receive his status credits and points?

Has anyone done this or know if this is how it works?

Pooling will work as usual, assuming it all posts etc.

Can confirm it works for SQ, can’t see why it wouldn’t work with QR

I can confirm it works as I have done that in the past but at times the posting of credits/points may take a while. Nonetheless , out of 4 sectors , I missed out on receiving credits for my son's leg from Doha --> MEL and did not bother following up but rest all landed safely without drama.
