Not sure if there is a standing thread on this somewhere else deep in the bowels of AFF, but if not I thought I'd kick it off.

Today I caught QF445 from SYD to MEL, and can report that we were graced with the company of:
- Alan Jones (the parrot)
- Julie Bishop (Fed education minister)
- Nick Green (oarsome foursome alumni)
- Julia Gillard (now Fed deputy oppn leader - with a new haircut)
- Theo Theophanous (Vic minister for industry & state development)
- and Stephen Mayne (from Crikey and Glenn Milne fame)

Any other notables on your flights recently?

On my flight from Perth to Sydney last week - Silver Haired Bodgie.

I also sat next to Glenn Shorrock on flight back from Melbourne to Sydney once.

There have been a couple of threads that I remember. One was closed because it turned to politics.

Chopper Reid - after that experience i don't really care for anyone else. they pale into insignificance

Chopper and Sam Newman would be two people I would love to be sat next to, watching the interactions would be very interesting.

I am off to see the TV Chopper from Ronnie Johns this Friday night. looking forward to it. His tour is called "The Harden the cough* Up Australia" Tour. if you can get a hold of the Harden Up skit it ought to make you laugh.

I reckon it's funny cause it's true.

Sat opposite Baz Luhrmann, in J, MEL-SYD and last week Marcia Hines from MEL-ADL.

Spotted Martin King from A Current Affair on the same flight, but he was in Y (Eddie must be tightening the purse strings over at channel 9)

I flew form Darwin to Sydney ( Ansett ) with at that time Midnight Oil front man Mr Garrett he had just come back form Jabiru where the band did a free concert. Must admit how nice and friendly he was. Very talkative and this guy must be 6ft and half!!

On a Perth flight a while back I was seated next to a Mr B Burke. I didn't think too much of it at the time but he now insists that I had lunch with him and 36 of his friends. As a consequence I now have to resign my position as treasurer of the P&C as my morals have apparently been compromised.

Oh ..... and before someone else gazumps me - last week I was on a flight to Melbourne and was seated beside God.

Game over.

Being out of the loop for a while with what happened with B.B. Its sounds to me everybody on that plane will have to resign, as well as all airport staff, QF staff and everybody inside the airport as he walked through at the same time he was there.
I would be interested to know if he ate the food. That would mean has colluded with us all, and every person accepting this 'gift' has been compromised as well.

I think he needs to change his name from B.B to G.R (Grim Reaper). Everything he touches, looks at, talks to, thinks about, has a tragic death.

He always knew you were destined for stardom. I deal with him quite a bit in my line of work and he is always beating his chest about how he got you to where you are today. ;)

Well, in a somewhat dubious honour I was seated near two cough stars on my way back to PER from SYD last night on DJ.
Don't ask how I knew they were cough stars. ;)
