Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

The Channel 7 'Sunrise' presenters were enjoying the SYD F lounge Friday afternoon.

The 9 & 7 morning shows continue with their overseas junket obsession as they love the "we're here & you're (viewers) not" ego trip.

Kochie doesn't get any less annoying just because he's OS. I probably watch it on mute just because it's Hawaii.

It is no different in the northeast of the USA. I abhor February and March due to all of the sports reporters flying down to Florida to cover Major League Baseball spring training, and after a long and cold winter, they always have to fit in the following comments "Oh it's a lovely day here in Florida! 75-80 degrees and sunny! Enjoy that blizzard that is coming!" I don't want to print what I want them to do to themselves  :D.

The fact that the junket was sponsored by JQ didn't stop senior Ch7 people tweeting shots of themselves in the J cabin on a QF flight - obviously they're too good to travel JQ. A career in politics awaits me thinks with the 'do as we say not the do as we do' mantra.

I haven't watched any of the episodes however my brother who is in the music industry told me several Australian performers were flown over (he estimated about 30 people) to Hawaii to perform there which I just don't 'get' as isn't the purpose of travelling to an overseas destination to showcase local talent ie Hawaiian artists/musicians?

Operation Aloha obviously ruffled the feathers of Ch9's Today Show camp enough for them to hastily throw together a round Australia gig at short notice to try and salvage their spot in the ratings.

Yesterday on VA 1594, I got an op up to an exit row seat. On boarding, I noticed a couple in black clothing in front of me. I had an inkling the guy was a Musician. His partner complemented me on my Red and White chequered shirt. She went to Biz and he went the exit row near me. Cabin crew offered him a sandwich which he declined. They later thanked Benjamin for flying with VA. He was more interested in his music on his laptop. Later Cabin crew let him sit next to his Wife in Biz.

After a bit of deduction I worked out his was the drummer from Silverchair and his Wife is on the Real Housewives of Melbourne.

Well they probably aren't the Edward R. Murrow types, can't expect them to go into war zones, or especially JQ!

Not that I watch the show, but she's the best of a bad bunch...

I turned the sound up when kochie went to Townsville and walked out into a cyclone. Was listening for the sound of flying roofing iron.
