Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Well as I was helping myself to my grilled tomatoes this morning one of them said they are big tomatoes.I said of course they're from Roma and as you know everything is bigger and better in QLD.
Fortunately he didn't realise there was a more important Roma in the world!

I sat next to James Morrison in 1B some years back. With aplomb, I asked him "Would you like to read my copy of New Scientist? I've finished with it."

And he very politely said "No, thanks."

Ah, a story of brush with fame we can tell our grand children.

There you go... and I am a golfer as well. Certainly heard of them but I prefer to play than watch so that's my excuse.

First one is Stuart Appleby (pro golfer) in the LAX F Lounge circa '08 just after the US Masters. 2nd is John Daly, 2 time major winner but probably more famous for blowing millions in $5k per go slot machines.

drron is the same - never knows anyone "famous" Charlize Theron walked right past him and when I poked him he said who ??

But then again we had breakfast with the St George footballers this morning and I didn't know them either

My jaw would probably be on the floor if she walked by.

Had a chat and a joke with Willie Nelson in duty free shop Sydney airport, met Buzz Aldrin in person at Rockwell in Chicago, had private dinner with B$ Herb Rothschld and his wife (also Chicago), had a good chat Bob Jane on inaugural flight QF flight 747 SYD/SFO (I was bumped up to QF1st!), sat next to Ian Turpie in J on flight MEL/SYD, all years ago in 80's, doesn't matter who they are I just treat everyone the same and the famous love it, especially when I act like i don't know who they are! and i've sure taken the micky out of most.

Janet Street Porter in Gatwick F lounge - may not be familiar to many Aussies

Oh hell ... heaps over the years but ones in Australia sat next to very recently (past few months) were ..
Leo Sayer on a QF OOL-SYD
Yousef Islam (Cat Stevens) on a QF SYD-MEL
Julie Bishop on a QF MEL-SYD
Richard Wilkins (twice) on QF flights I forgot
Kerrie Ann Kennely on a QF OOL-MEL
and
Richard DiNatalie on a QF MEL-SYD

Probably most famous ever was George Clooney about 10 years ago on a Cathay flight to LAX in F ...

Pauline Hanson (in the VA lounge) and now is on my same flight to TSV.

I am not a One Nation supporter but kudos for her for flying in J (after all it's probably paid with our taxes)
