Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

In the Gold Coast Virgin lounge right now and saw Sophie Monk. We just shared friendly smiles as she was on the phone.
 
Not to do with airlines but we are in the Novotel,Hamilton,NZ.
Earlier this afternoon the Bangladesh cricket team checked into the hotel ready for the first test beginning tomorrow.
 
I sat in front of new Virgin Australia CEO (come March 25th) Paul Scurrah on Sunday night SYD-DPS. He was doing the rounds as to be expected so I didn’t bother him. He seemed like a genuine guy and crew feedback was positive.
 
Flew MEL-BNE today then drove to Toowoomba to meet with Mal Leyland - OMG - what a thorough gentleman.

We will be having a number of further meetings so if you have any questions you would like answered post here and I will - Ask the Leyland ....... Ask the Leyland ....... Ask the Leyland BROTHER!!!

Shoulda used the local airport ;);) (even though there's only one flight a day!:p:p)
 
Checking out of the Novotel Hamilton this morning and ran into the Black Caps going off to the first test.Didn't wish them luck as I want the underdog run to continue.:D

Which probably explains why Sally doesn't get an invite to the CL. Would ruffle a few feathers... Haha !
 
John Howard in 1A on board QF738 right now. Very courteous towards staff, quite statesman like, I think.

Update: the CSM just told him that the captain had invited him into the coughpit any time, he politely declined but asked her to pass on his best wishes.
