Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

As I haven't travelled much in the last 18 months no one really apart from the occasional Politician and that is about all

Hi AFF family
…in times of boredom and well sorted sock draws one puts up a bew thread which departs from the (reasonable) vigorous debates on ‘the virus’.
so….
go to town on experiences when and where you have met ‘famous’ (acknowledging in this day and age this is a loose construct) pax on your travels.
I will start
…stayed at welsh hotel during HAYONWYE writers festival and had breakfast (few words like can you pass me the salt) with Bear Grylls and his mum.…. I won’t count signing the guest book under Stephen Fry (but did take a photo).
…staying in Belfast - Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont in Game of Thrones) who definitely wanted his privacy surrounded by books/laptops up and seated next to the kitchen
.. hubby met Martin Clunes when he wandered onto the set of Doc Martin
…. met Randy Crawford in the Fairmont Montreaux when staying for the Jazz Festival

Please add your stories…
PS - politicians don’t count😂

My mum once washed my socks & jocks in the same suburban-Perth hotel washing-machine used by Shirley Strachan before her … a bloke who, as a 14yo, I thought was famous for being the host of Shirl‘s Neighbourhood. :)

I don’t think any other brushes with fame have been travel related (eg. Adam Hills, in the grade ahead of me at school, overheard being a funny cough with his mates … and Roy Slaven being my Year 8 teacher).

To kickstart this thread again…

Well I missed this currently slightly famous person by 20 mins last week (been friends for a couple of years and he was just on a recent relationship reality show), but we caught up back in BNE this week:

For those that recognise the face but can’t pick from where, a clue:

By pure coincidence he wore the same shirt to our meet up, as he wore at the final dinner…🤣
