Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Had to Google. Wow, I wouldn't recognise any author. You must really like his work. Any interaction with him at all?

I've been to one of his book launches. He's an amusing speaker as well as being a great writer. Very down to earth

Now, if it had been Peter Robinson or Ian Rankin, then I would have been impressed :)
I was supposed to do a literary festival cruise last year on the QM2 from Southhampton to New York and Ian Rankin was one of the speakers. I was pretty upset when that was cancelled. If you like both those authors then I think you'd enjoy Michael Robotham books

My boss sat across from Kylie Minogue (on Qantas of course) on a domestic trip - J class, a few weeks ago apparently she was very lovely to all and everyone who recognised her despite very large sunnies and a hat.
Now there's someone famous, who I didn't have to look up on Google...

So jealous - and I've read a few of Michael Robotham,'s books. MrsK and I have done some impromptu visits connected with those authors, including Michael Connelly in Los Angeles. Which involved a lot of pubs, bars and restaurants, although unfortunately Musso & Franks was closed the day we were there.
MrsK did make the observation that I seemed to relate to characters in the books that were troubled loners, jumbled up family relationships etc, love of single malt whiskeys and so on. I don't know why :-)

That reads like a lot of fun. Mrs 11 and I love reading his books

These posts asking "who?" or griping "I thought the thread was famous people" - have you ever seen such acute pretentiousness wrapped up in such flagrant own-goals?

Perhaps - but the meaning of famous I have is: Widely known; esteemed; celebrated; famed; far-famed; illustrious; notable; noted; renowned, and finally - known!
