I recall sitting near Barry Humphries many years ago in the Ansett Gold Wings Lounge. It was in the pre mobile phone era and he was sitting chatting on the landline. He was on his way to Darwin to perform. He had the hat pulled down over his eyes, which was fairly distinctive, but no one could fail to recognise his voice.

Accidentally found my way into the CL in ADL. Walked around, wondered where everyone was and went back out again and asked where the J lounge was. There is no J lounge. Should have hid in the CL.

Guy Sebastian just entered the QF LAX F lounge. I suspect he’s on my flight but not in my cabin…

Although I’ve seen other celebs slumming it in J.
