Does one eat salad in KL as a ’dare’ sort of thing?
Always eat salad in KL and Malaysia and it’s one of the few Asian countries that I have never had a bad bout of anything thankfully

Many moons ago in April 2018, during his suspension for ball tampering enforced layoff, I pulled up a few yards away from Steven Peter Devereux Smith at the JFK FlAAgship Lounge. If I had to guess how he was eligible to get in, he was probably off to LAX.

It was incredibly difficult to resist going up to him and saying hi, even though he had a friend in tow. The man probably didn't even want to think about cricket, and the US is the perfect place to get away from it for the most part.

After a few seconds of casual observation, he fidgets in real life as much as he does at the crease.
