Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Meanwhile the crew were so poor it looks as though my Trans Tasman travel will now go to VA.

Maybe they're slipping! Jetconnect crew have enjoyed a pretty good reputation in the past and my experiences have reflected that. I'll be interested to see how they are over Easter.

A.Joyce walked past me in the CBR J lounge earlier today. Overheard the words "Jetstar" and "Capacity"

We were not impressed last week either, previously been good though

Arrived at DUR an hour ago.Crowds of people of Indian origin. Was a Bollywood star we are told who was arriving into DUR today.

I've only been a frequent flyer the last two years and can't remember anyone noteworthy yet, apart from George Spartels (Playschool) on a QF flight ADL-SYD about 15 years ago on a family holiday to Disneyland.

If there was a thread about people in hotels I have a huge list..

There's the National Achievers Congress, Australia 2013 in Adelaide May 8+9 and Perth May 10+11 with keynotes Richard Branson and Mark Bouris.

I was contemplating booking myself Business ADL-PER on VA713 on the morning of May 10 for the chance to be on the same flight with Richard but decided he's most likely on a private jet between the two cities.

David Lloyd* this morning at the Crowne Plaza in AKL. I was checking in he looked like he was getting his parking ticket validated.

*He was once famously hit in the unmentionables by Jeff Thomson during the 1974/75 England tour.

I was out DYKWIA'd by Grant Hackett today. He boarded almost last explained to the pax sitting in 5C that it was his lucky day, going on to say there was no way he was sitting down the back. The pax in 5C was moved to J to accommodate Mr Hackett. (This had obviously been worked out prior to boarding, but the pax in 5C didn't know what to do until the CSM came to give him his good new.)

I'm glad that the crew op-uped 5C vs the DYKWIA (I mean Grant Hackett and not TonyHandcock).

Slightly OT ..The on board real estate in J for one would be an attractive & persuasive reasoning towards EK. :D

I was talking about Y (if the once a day timing works for you).

But yes, in J or F, the product is clearly superiour.

Nick Knight - Crowne Plaza Club Lounge....actually this is going to get a little tedious. It looks like the Sky Sports Team is using the CP as a base for the Test Match. Let's hope they don't have to rely on the in house internet at 29.99 per day, which in itself is sort of expected, its the 500MB cap that annoys me.
