After 2 emails to Hilton my stay and points have been posted. The email from Hilton went along the lines
"Dear Mr. Thank you for your reply. Since the hotel closed as a Hilton on the check out date, our system will not allow us to post with the correct check in and check out dates. In order to give you the points and the stay and night credits, I have posted the stay with the dates of July 26 to 27."
I can not actual see this in the past stay record however the stays for the year have gone up as to have the points.
