Just looking at the SMS - the upgrade notification came through at 12:30am... that's, what, T-60?
Have never received domestic upgrade notification so far out from the flight

Current cheapest is $179 so I've burned points to stay at IC for $0... and Plat Ambassador so got an upgrade too

It's not guaranteed gate to gate on this flight. As I was told on AFF when whinging about it being switched off early
