There is a chance I will have luggage, it could be good insurance if we are still in the lounge when they want to close the door for an ontime flight.

That's cool.

The issue is with the bus and the spreadsheet says you're not on the bus.

If there's a spot left on the bus I'd love to take it.

(I should've been following this thread closer)

I hate to say this at this late stage but I'm down to a 50:50 chance of attending due family illness. :( :( :(

QF408? If so, will see you in the lounge and we can check out how PB goes. However my ultimate destination is ASP, not ADL!
...
412 - so you're not the PAX in 23K joining me as one of the current sole two occupants of the front mini cabin (aside from my shadow :)).

Actually, I got my dates mixed up, and am on 412 this Saturday. But it's a JASA so deffo not 23K. So catch you at the airport or skybus perhaps.

Of course it could not have been you ... no shadow ... :p

I hope everything get better Bill. :(

you have been added to the bus list.

That makes 21.

3 seats left - better be quick if anyone else wants a seat!

I had the impression that Paddy55 and +1 where on the bus as well. going back I see that wasn't explicitly confirmed. Paddy55 can you confirm, do you want 2 seats on the bus.

Depending on the answer there may only be 1 seat left.

Sorry to hear that Bill - hope everything is okay

My booking at the Hilton is already showing an upgrade from King Guest Room to King Executive.

I booked an extra night on the Friday so I won't have to drive the 2.5 hours from home on Saturday morning for the 6am flight to SYD.

So if anyone in Adelaide wants to meet for drinks Friday night let me know.

Thanks for the thoughts everyone.

Sue has had gastro for the past four days and was admitted to hospital this evening and put on a drip to get her fluids up again. They are confident she should be sorted by tomorrow but who really knows.

She had better be better by Tuesday to fly to Singapore :!:

I would now have to say that my chances of being there this weekend are now relatively low.

Whilst we will be sorry to miss you, we completely understand. My thoughts are with you and Sue.

Hey straitman. I hope your wife recovers quickly. Is it the dreaded noro? My niece had this in January and ended up in hospital too. She recovered after 2 days in care but she had just given birth a couple of months earlier and she wasn't able to feed her baby anymore. Hoping for better news soon.

With kind thoughts to Sue for a speedy recovery. Wouldn't want either of you to miss the forthcoming travel delights.

Paddy and Mrs paddy are on the bus, so there is one seat left.

I have been able to advise the pilot of QF81 of our travels, so at least someone from QF is interested!
