Once Again McLaren Vale has beckoned and I have heeded the call. I have already booked one of the finest vineyard restaurants I know of d'Arry's Verandah Restaurant | d'Arenberg.

A couple of days in the Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism South Australia - whales wine wildlife world class golf courses beaches surfing dolphins koalas horsetram festivals should do it and back home Wed for a rest.

While never visited the restaurant, they make really good value for money wine at that winery, and have done so for many many years, the footbolt shiraz being one of my everyday drinking reds. Will have to take your recommendation one day and sample the offerings at the restaurant.

A group of us were on QF175 back in Feb 2008, some famous names on this piece of paper, I first counted 2 but looks like there is now 4 of us, dam those people who use different usernames between forums.

A few need to add their seat allocations please.

A reminder that the bus from ADL to the Hilton will cost $5 pp.

Without teaching people to suck eggs:

When you check in, please get two door cards to help with the exec lounge guesting.

Wah Hing restaurant do not do split bills. We are likely to be spread over three tables, so the best we can expect is 3 accounts. Please bring some of the folding stuff to make the tally easier. Might have to play 'rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock' to determine who gets to wave the plastic.

The bus has been upgraded we now have a 24 seater. With the price increase it is still $5 a head.

I believe so. Before T-80 I had 1F as an option via the Qantas website. That is no longer open to me and it also now showing an X in expert flyer. Previously only 2J/K were Xs, IIRC. Also I see 2K and 4B with Xs. Can you select either of those? Potential 2K is my shadow, so I can select it but I can't get 4B.

Your flight arrives at 1.55pm into Adelaide Int? Will many have luggage? Just working out how long to get through customs. Luggage takes forever at Adelaide Int.

My +2, Sharon, said she would have a checked bag. She was told in no uncertain terms that she would be uninvited if she did. The matter has now been resolved with no checked luggage in sight.

First a classic award seat to SYD and then checked luggage - Sheesh!

Had I been on the ball I may have been able to make this QF81/82 event, but I wasn't and while it is probably still possible for me to do so, it's not practical.

I'm sure a rollicking good time will be had by all.

There is a chance I will have luggage, it could be good insurance if we are still in the lounge when they want to close the door for an ontime flight.
