Glad to see I have a shadow.
Also decided 12k points wasn't worth it for the upgrade on this flight - suspect I wont be eating much anyways.

so who's going to do the live updates to this thread on the day / night...?

Also I shall be recovering in the afternoon at home after a busy morning, what time do I have to wake myself up for pre-dinner drinks lol

That brings us up to 29. Are they locals or do you need to order the bigger bus?!?

0410 AET I believe.

They are locals, so nothing else is required.

410 is a bit better, Maybe i should check schedules or something ;)

Hopefully, you do a trip report on your experiences.
I am hopeless at trip reports.

I'll just start another thread with some feedback in it so people can get satisfaction out of my misery and then tell me I told you so.

I expect a 17.45-18.00 arrival time in the HA lounge would be suitable.

As to who will do the live updates - that would be everyone! iPhones at 10 paces.

I am taking a print out of the spreadsheet so I can mark attendance. ;)

Please make sure you have a method of contact between guesters and guestees, so you can pair up for guesting into the Flounge. Do not expect to be able to walk up to the front desk and just say 'I am with so-and-so'; they will need to be with you to allow you entry.

I have updated the spreadsheet with arriving flights where I have been able.

I will be keeping an eye on the thread Saturday morning, so PM me if you have any troubles. A number of attendees also have my mobile number.

5 sleeps (I am getting excited)

Whilst I have a lot going on at the moment I am still looking forward to Saturday, although I must apologise in advance if my mood is a little somber

There is also a chance I may cancel right up to the last minute, or even after checking in, however I will deal with this as the time grows near.

I know it is not travel related, but this is what I am currently trying to deal with http://www.facebook.com/PirateTheHimalayanCat

(and dont think for a minute status runs can be expensive, ICU for a cat is basically $1,000 per day - all worth it for something we love so much).

Apologies if this upsets or offends anyone here, it is not my intention

Thank you, it means a lot

I would give up all my flying and status just to bring him home if that is what it took

I can't open your Facebook link but I gather your pet is having a health problem. I hope that all works out for you. Pets are precious.

Sooooo sorry to hear your news, Rohan. Pets are like family members in my house. Hoping the night brings good news your way.

Very late to the thread but Mrs Paddy and I are late minute additions

Managed to get YASAs going down on QF81 and coming back Sun afternoon on QF764 using a couple of JASAs

We'll be up for dinner on Sat night too.

Naturally using a Reward Night at the IC

Should be in the lounge by 9am - see you all there!
Twill be great to faces to names as our first AFF gathering

Great to have you along. I will put you down as self sufficient as far as Flounge guesting goes.

Do you need (to squeeze on) the bus to the Hilton? medhead, perhaps we need the 24 seater bus!

Dinner was up to 29 of 30, so you make 31. I will ring the restaurant tomorrow. You might have to sit on someone's lap!

Are you joining us for drinks/dinner in Sydney?
