Commonsense got the better of me and I shifted back two hours to the VA232/891 connection. (of course couldn't fly direct). Will still see if I can make for flyahead.
Had to be back in Sydney early Sunday so overnight was out

VA228, not going on Saturday?

Three more will be fine. When will you be able to confirm?

Having some discussions, I think I need to say no +3 for me.

I think Tiger is going to fill that void left by VA.

I am hoping this is the start of bigger and better things. And cheaper flights for me. ;)

Hopefully, you do a trip report on your experiences.

Adelaide is having a great week of weather. But we need some rain as you will see as you fly over the hills.

Decisions, decisions, decisions.... Do I burn some more points on a J upgrade for my positioning flight...? early departure I'm thinking some comfort may help give me more energy for the Flounge...

But if you don't upgrade, you could use the Flounge to recover from the ordeal. A better place I cannot think of!

P.S. sticky nametags - check

All the way in J (on the way home)... like a good little boy scout, be prepared...! (especially after a Flounge run )

Any Flounge spots left in Syd Int I would like to say farewell to QF81 and meet up with fellow FF.

Cheers

Did HVR get an upgrade or move, or did I somehow shift their seat?
Who is up early Wed morning?

I moved to the front row of whY (23B) on the aisle. I have put in for an upgrade but wont know until five hours before the flight.

It's a domestic flight. It should clear if U availability comes up (and at J9 C9 D9 I'd be surprised if it doesn't).

I cancelled my upgrade request. I'm happy with 23D.

Having said that, the flight is very front heavy and looking very lightly loaded. I wonder what the chance of them rebalancing us is: Droplr • Screenshot on 2013-04-08 at 17.27.38.png (especially if they take into account the food and champagne that will be sitting in our stomachs!)

I originally had a J upgrade but had to cancel. Hope one of you scores it b

A QF load manager was reported to be heard saying 'How am I supposed to allocate Platinum shadows if they all want to sit up the front? I am not sure the captain will be able to trim the aircraft. Maybe I should sub a 747 to even it out.'
