Final flights for the B767

Well done to all who turned out to farewell the 767's. Sorry not to have made it, but also nice to be home on a wet Brisbane weekend.

I still remember having the single seat 1A from NRT-CNS-BNE at the end of my first Circle Pacific soon after I caught the Frequent Flyer bug and began visiting groups like AFF :)

Looks like both sides get a good view. And those in the middle seats get a view of the backs of everyones' head.

I wonder if there were any people on board who just wanted to fly to Sydney?

I was thinking that. Non aviation enthusiasts would not get the fuss, but I'm sure they appreciated the sight seeing.

I may not be on board but I'm watching it circle the city from the IC Sydney lounge!

Confirming that there were people onboard who just wanted to fly to SYD but not many mind you.
What an absolute privilege it was to be onboard. A true experience that I won't forget, from the marvellous crew onboard to the amazing double fly over Sydney Harbour.
The entire flight was a joy and I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
And whoever chose to play Martha Marlow - you ruined my mascara

What a great day. Sorry we couldn't stick around for a drink after, but we have a dinner reservation to make.

Terrific experience ... QF did a great job. As did ATC in enabling the figure 8's of Syd CBD (but I'm biased ha!)

Was at a BBQ on Clontaf beach earlier this evening when a QF767 flew over low. Then I remembered the talk of its last commercial flight and I raised my glass of Wine to toast it's swan song. The Shiraz tasted bitter sweet.

I felt honoured and privileged to be on the penultimate and final service today.

It was a pleasure to put a face to some of the wonderful members here on AFF. Special thanks to Princess Fiona. It is a wonderful community and I hope to take part in more events in the future.

The technical and cabin crew were exemplary on both flights. The flyover in Sydney was phenomenal! Never been happier to arrive forty minutes late haha.

This experience probably surpassed my A380 F experience. Thank you Qantas.

What a fabulous way to end the day. Hilton upgrade to a relaxation suite, a spa whilst watching TV to relax.

Nice one Buzz...So your opinion of the SYD Hilton has somewhat changed after our discussion a few hours ago ? ;)

10 years ago (21 July 2004) my first jet airliner flight to HKG on a QF 767, the reason for the flight changed the course of my life....that flight has left me a fondness for flying the 767. Kinda sad they are gone for QF now....
