FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

Explorer and just applied for an edge to leverage the Ascent point advantage. For Visa spend - fortunately using the Westpac Visa until that gets canned.

Yes Cove, St George Amplify is my likely option, seems I can only have one additional cardholder though which is a shame.

Also looking at BOQ Specialist Signature, need to find out how many supps it allows. Only $10000pm at $1-1point though and pretty ordinary sign on bonus

Well I managed to get my $350 discount on the annual fee after another call. Not sure if I'm willing to go through the hassles year after year, although with the introduction of online chat it was a bit better this year, still required a phone call to get the final offer though. I think I'm going to apply for the Amplify Signature card then cancel the Citibank card and get whatever refund on the fee that's offered.

Just before 3 am I received a text saying my Amplify CC had been approved. I guess they work on Sydney time for sending messages or maybe it was sourced from another country. Kris Miles will start off this new card in a few days time. Thank you St George Bank.

Does the hotels using the forth night free qualify for status recognition and points earning under the hotels loyalty schemes?

No I received no additional points from Hilton, Accor nor Marriott. The 25% off is better anyway and Accor points have always been coated in unobtainium for me.

hi all - thinking about re-applying for the card as would make the fee back on the 4th night free benefit with a couple of visits this year.

does anyone know the application period blackout for re-receiving the sign on bonus?

Cheers

Hotels.com is where you go to see generally availability and pricing for 4th night free. As an aside, both the gentleman and I have a Prestige card and used the 4th night free to book some back to back accommodation over the New Year break. One booking was with hotels.com but the other was with expedia? Apparently the big hotel aggregators all sell across to each other.

Still plenty value in Citi Prestige for us - $360 saving for me this morn for a Stay 4 / Pay 3 booking at Double Six Seminyak and $720 saving for the Ette for 2 x bookings same hotel - and I still haven't paid an Ann Fee in years.

Anyone tried the new Sofitel DH yet, using the Free night?

Availability is rather limited via Concierge and I wonder why when Hotels.com show there's plenty of availability on the dates I indicated to concierge.

Also, found out that room upgrade has to be done direct with the hotel...which was not the case last year when we used the free night at Hyatt Regency.

Used it on Jun 17 - upgrade from pox room to ordinary room albeit with view - Exec Lounge F & B offerings ordinary to say the least - breakfast in Exec Lounge akin to a 3 Stooges episode - would really need to think hard about a paid stay.

Just realized that the 4th night free promo is only till 31 Dec 2018.. how far out do Citi announces their new year benefits normally..?

Does anyone know how long you have to wait after cancelling the Citi Prestige to become eligible for bonus points when applying for a new one?

And am I correct that holding another Citibank card (specifically the Signature) does not me you ineligible for bonus points with a new Prestige card?

Does anyone have any experience with the $150k income requirement?
Thinking of applying, but last years annual income was just below $150k. This years looking like likely to be over $150k and pay slips to date suggest that.
I assume individual income only?
