Thanks guy, yes, you are both right. Plenty of availability on the way to EU in September, however only one date - 26/10 - available on the way back.
I am still newbie to this - award seats - but find it a bit strange that seat are available when using QF but nothing when searching on Finnair.
I have shortlisted flights from CGK to VIE with Qatar for 160k Avios but when it was announced Finnair joined I was wondering if there is some better options for me. When chatting with support they stated BKK-HEL is just 125k Avios so I though I would save some points here. I need to pay with Avios.
It would be a dream to simply have flights available from SYD to EU.
