I flew Thai Airways from BKK to SYD a few weeks ago but it may be that I didn't have any frequent flyer number linked for my flight. I don't particularly want the miles to be credited to my empty Thai Airways frequent flyer account as they will just wind up orphaned.

My question is whether I am able to have miles credited after the fact to another Star Alliance airline?

To be honest, I'm not sure which one I'd go for since I don't currently have miles with any of them but am looking at www.wheretocredit.com - Thai Airways Y class - to see if it helps me decide. If I am able to get credit on another airline after the flight, I'm looking at Singapore Airlines, Air Canada or Avianca.
