Flight Attendant's list of WPs

Mrs C and I (both WP) recently flew SYD-CHC and CHC-BNE in J and didn't receive amenity packs either way.
We were 2wp in J and received diddly squat on a 6 hour flight to Bali.

Mrsdrron is the QF WP.Her problem is that I usually get the greeting.

We were both WP and for a long time I would get nothing and MrP behind me would be showered with the welcomes. It has improved a little now though.

The amenity kits trans tasman can be a hit and miss. Since QF took over, I've flown them 3 times, I've received them the first time, which was a very welcome surprise, but did not receive them the last 2. All 3 times I've been flying on the 6/7pm service back to Australia. In saying that, not that I'm fused about getting them as it's a 3 1/2 hr flight, but it marks an inconsistency.

LOL.

On my recent lack of greeting flight both Platinums either side got the "If there's anything I can get you...." speech.

I hope neither of them said, "Yes you can do something. Looks like a staff member is sitting in my shadow."

My mother has been QF WP for some time and notices that she only receives WP introductions on weekday departures (intl).

Anyone had this experience?

As in someone coming down to speak with you or as in the Welcome Back comment on boarding?

Maybe it is just me. I do not want to be disturbed by the CSM telling me their name, I just want to be left alone and if I would like something there is a call button, which I never seem to use. My contract with QF is to get me from point A to B preferably with 1 takeoff and landing, i do not really care about much else.

A crew coming back to speak with you..

I think some people are expecting too much when buying a Y ticket.

An introduction from a cabin crew is mandated in the Oneworld FFP Delivery Document. It's not open to interpretation - an introduction is mandated by Oneworld as a minimum service guarantee for Emeralds.

On international flights yes.

Just flew Brisbane to Cairns on a Qantaslink flight.
One of the cabin crew had the handwritten list and distributed cold water bottles to those on the list prior to push back.

First time I'd seen that, maybe a Qantaslink thing?

Yep. That's often the PDB for J pax on the 717s - and I've been offered them in Y from time to time.

Had a water bottle waiting for me on my seat BNE to HTI on a Q400 last month.

Row 1 pax was not WP as he didn’t get one. Row 3 pax got one to, so clearly quite specific allocation not just to front rows.

It's not really an expectation but when they introduce themselves to the Platinum on your right and the Platinum on your left while standing in front of you and ignore you then your curiosity gets the better of you.

My partner got a WP greeting in Y on a Saturday departure about a month ago.

I like the service on the B717 up FNQ way, always get a water and how are you are you today.

On my BNE-NTL QantasLink flight on a Q400 today I was greeted at the boarding gate, on board, when they brought a bottle of water prior to pushback, when they brought my snack and again when they brought another water! Compared to my BNE-PER-BNE flights last week where there was zero, today felt over the top! Interesting the massive difference.

Also I noticed that the crew had iPhones in a QF case and they were reading the WP names off there instead of a written list or the ipads seen on mainline domestic.

I saw no list of Platinum and above passengers on the Y meal cart for my latest batch of flights, seated in 4C. However the CSM did come by to have a chat with offer of J wine on the post midday services (with generous helpings of the mixed nuts).
