Hi guys,

I was poking around EF to check seat assignments for one of my VA flights this weekend earlier today and saw that EF showed that the flight had been cancelled. Trying to pull up the seatmap returns an error message. It seems right as the flight is no longer listed for sale even on VA's website.

However, when I rang the Velocity hotline, the lady seemed to think that it was just that the flight had been sold out and that it is running as per normal. She did say that I should have received an email or a call by now if it was cancelled.

Has anyone had an experience like so and could it just be a GDS glitch? I just don't want to get to the airport on a Sunday night and be out of options when I could have had more alternatives if I had gotten this fixed up earlier.

The flight is VA572 from PER-SYD this Sunday, 21 July.

Thanks for all your help in advance guys!

The flight is still going , I would say the reason it is sold out could be related to the Sydney Swans playing in PER that Sunday ? The perfect flight to watch the game and head on back home.....

That's what the VA agent told me as well - that it could be sold out, but neither me (on EF) nor her could pull up the seatmap for the flight which is a little bit odd.

And all the A332 flights into PER are scheduled to be running on Sunday so I'm thinking it might just be a glitch in the GDS.

Thanks for your information. Much appreciated. :)
