Flight to Kona, Hawaii with Hawaiian or VA

Next year I'm planning business class Hawaiian flights from Sydney to Kona. The flight from Sydney is a direct flight to HNL with a connecting flight to KOA. If I book SYD-KOA will the status credits be a total of 160 one way or 160 (SYD-HNL) plus 40(HNL-KOA)?

I expect it will have two different flight numbers so should earn as two legs.
