Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

can I suggest the other person in your household gets their own flybuys card? That may increase your options...

Each person having their own flybuys account has certainly helped our household - $100 and $160 our the 4 week offers for our two accounts :-(

Note to self: must invite my people into the household or move closer to a woolies or Aldi....

I was overseas for 4 weeks and hadn't used flybuys for that time (no-one else uses my card). My average spend/offer prior to leaving was just over $100. My latest two offers from Flybuys - 1) Spend $300 in one shop for 4k bonus points 2) Spend $210 x 4 for 10k points or $50 credit - pass

If anyone is interested, might already have been discussed on here, (I aplogize) but Coles Prepaid (Reloadable) Mastercard is no longer available for sale.
I was thinking of getting one of them them to pump up my FB balance.
Pity I left it too late!

I agree that their required spend to earn bonus FB points is much too high, spending $80 every week for 4 weeks as a bare minimum, even that is much too high.
$50 per week for 4 weeks maybe manageable, but $80 each time for 4 weeks is too much.
They must expect us to either have silver spoons in our mouths or made of money.
Also, their promise SC earn via FB is less than what I had countered on.
Not going to make any status by the looks of FB & flying VA whY, earning VA SC from FB is a good idea, but what they issue out on spends and with 5 VS SC per shorter flights (!!!) no VA, not happy with that.

I got another 10 cent voucher offer from Coles Express. It runs from 21 to 27 April. I think my 500 point offer is still running at this stage but I need to get 30 litres to use this and I don't think I'll be needing that much. I managed to top back up to full late last night just before all the petrol stations in Melbourne went up in price by about 20 cents or more. The 10 cent voucher might not be worth chasing as I don't need to buy petrol every week.

We got those offers two weeks ago.

Strangely enough the day after all Coles X went from 108.9 (ranging from Sutherland to Waverley) to 137.9 a good ten days out from Easter (would not want to be accused of ramping up for Easter).

Given what AUD and oil prices had done in previous 4 weeks - this is all a great margin boost.

I guess many (less discerning) people will think "Thanks Coles" and eagerly fill up 10 cents cheaper...

And not think about the net 19 cents per litre they are paying.

Being a cynic (realist) I bit the bullet on the previous day and filled up all the cars and 2 Jerry cans. Now will the price drop back so we can take advantage of the BP VFF points offer (no min spend)?

Received a 10x points/$30 min spend for Liquorland.

Can I stack that with the Android Pay 5x offer? I can't see anything that says not stackable, but it does say "no 5x POINTS on individual BONUS POINTS offers". Does that mean its not stackable? Or does it mean when they do bonus points for buying a specific item?

Has anyone got a new set of coupons yet?

I was speaking to a friend last week and she had a new set of coupons which included a points boost offer as well as the 12 weekly coupons. The coupons were 1000 points for $40 on the odd weeks and triple points on the even weeks. I didn't read the full conditions of the points boost but I think it involved using the coupons 4 times. These were really good coupon. My friend hasn't been to Coles very much lately so it's possible they are only sending them to lapsed members.

I had a strange experience for me last week. I went shopping to do Week 1 of the 4 week offer. I didn't have any coupons or docket deals so the only points I got for that transaction were the base points. I know the bonus points will come at the end of the 4 weeks but it felt weird not having any other bonus points for the transaction.

Tomorrow I will have 2 triple points docket deals with my Week 2 shopping trip. It's not much but it's better than just the base points.

I don't understand the docket deal pattern at the moment. I usually goes one week of triple points and the next week with 500 or 1000 bonus points for a set amount of spending in one transaction. I'm not sure why the pattern has changed. They have been giving out triple points dockets about 4 weeks in a row. Triple points is nice but it only represents and extra 1% of return so not really worth chasing after on its own. If I didn't have the 4 week promotion I wouldn't have spent very much using the triple points docket deals.

No coupons received yet. I shopped at Coles on both Monday and Tuesday this week - undisciplined I know but there was a special on that Mrs SydneySwan decided I hadn't bought enough of. I am also on a 4 week deal (this is week 2) but on neither occasion this week did I receive a docket deal.

I got a coupon book last week.
Mine is $90/1000 points (one transaction) on odd weeks and triple points even weeks and a bunch of smaller bonus points for specific item purchases. On the back the TandC doesn't say anything about having to use them four times.

The points boost coupons are very rare, that's why I don't know much about them. I'm not expecting the points boost on my coupons as I shop too much at Coles to get them.

Two of our accounts got the coupons last week, one set had the spend cut by 65% due to very low spending/week for the last 3 months (I suspect) and the other which had regularly used the 1,000 point coupon had the spend increased 1/3rd. Guess what's going to happen?

First 1,000 point coupon was valid for a 2 week period.

I received my coupons last week and was puzzled by the points boost as there is little information on the coupon about it. Looking at them again, there are 6 coupons with the points boost on them. If I use 4 of them in the offer time I get a bonus 2000 points, so effectively a bonus 500 points per shop.

We had similar coupons with $140 and $260 (!) targets. I read the boost working the same way

No coupons so far. Not sure what's going on. There's only one mail delivery day left in the first weekly coupon period from what I can guess, although I haven't seen the coupon dates so I'm only speculating. If the coupons come later this week or next week I might attempt to claim week 1 if I happen to make the required target anyway.

No coupons so far, for the two accounts normally by this household. The one account that we don't normally use, and has never received coupons before, received a set last week. Hoping the others arrive soon. Fingers crossed.

That's an interesting observation. It matches the pattern from my friend who got the points boost coupons. I think Woolworths Rewards and Flybuys are using the same terminology with Points Boost although they have different meanings.

What are the week 1 dates of the coupons you got last week?

Thank you for the feedback.

Same 2 accounts that got the coupons last time got them again. Three others are jealous!
