Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Coupons have come in today. Downgrade of point offerings for me. 750 for $140 spend and 2x alternating weeks. 1000 points for $170 week before Christmas.
1000 points for $25 spend in the frozen department. Shows Coles stuff but doesn't specify any restrictions. 1000 points for $40 spend at Liquorland in October. Other generic Coles offers I will probably will never redeem.

My prediction was right.......runs to check letter box.

Still no bonus points from the targeted offers from last week (i.e Arnotts Multipack, Quilton and Elastoplast offers).

From what I can see, others have had issues with either the offers posting or the triple point receipts, so a few gremlins about.

Time to follow up as they normally post with the shop.

Just back from Coles. I see there are vouchers again in the catalogue starting tomorrow for a bonus 2000 points.

And my bonus offers were awesome (and on special and unlimited) this week, thanks Flybuys!!

I've just finished using the Week 12 coupon from the last mail out (the first mail out I've received in ages). Still waiting to see if the new coupons arrive in the letterbox. Somehow I'm not holding my breath...

IME there's a few weeks gap in between them

No coupons :(

but I did get a 14,400 bonus point offer for a one off $240 shop (by Tues 24th)

C.
That's a really good return for a one off shop.

I'm still working on the 4 week offer. A few friends of mine got the standard spend $50 for 1000 bonus points.

It gets better ..... I just got a 4000 bonus points for $200, starting tomorrow, so that should stack to 18,800.

Glad I didn't go shopping today :)

Checked the mailbox today and found the flybuys coupons inside one envelope.
I’ll have to say this is the most uninspiring mail out I have received from flybuys with such high spend thresholds ( ie $120 some weeks for for a paltry 750 points).

Looks like the good old days of spend $30 for 1000 points are long gone :(

These coupons are not inspiring offers at all, I’m Hoping Woolies Ramps up their Targeted emails, as I’m happy to spend with whoever has the best points offers.

Sounds like it is time to establish a new account and close the old one.

Nothing like a pre-Xmas refresh!

Got one of those spend $XX in one transaction get YY00 points offers which I thought a high target (180% of normal spend threshold), but activated all the same.

Then while shopping noticed a new supply of the Whiskas special 12 packs sitting on the shelves coinciding with buy 2 for $14. Whiskas is running a promotion for buy2 get a $10 JB Hifi egc (limit 5 per email address).

The maths

10 packs of Whiskas @ 2 for $14 = $70, less 5% discount = $66.50

less 5 x $10 JB Hifi egcs = $15.50
less [points offer (60% points), = 7,000 x .60 = 4,200 points
[ normal points = 70 points
[ Triple points docket ending 24/10 = 140 points
[ Triple points docket ending 31/10 = 140 points
4,550 points @ 0.5 cpp (general value per FB point)
$22.75

So Coles paid me $7.25 per 10 packets of Whiskas recently, expiry on the Whiskas 2019.

Now did I mention the VFF points from purchasing the Coles gcs?

That was PER 10 packets, it is amazing how many packets of 12 you can fit in a trolley, simply amazing (and lucrative).

Now we do have cats BUT if you went the full circle and donated them so tax deductible then this should rank up there with the best I suspect.

Thank you Coles, thanks you Whiskas, thank you Amex.

However, if I valued the FB points at what the last redemption was worth (Suitesavers),

= 4,550 FB points @ 2.9145 cents
= $132.61

Changes the result by (132.61-22.75) = $109.86

Meaning each 10 packets we effectively earnt $117.11 or $11.71 per packet.

Don't you just love being paid to take products home!
