Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I'm surprised that some people don't have a good competitor nearby. Are these smaller towns or is nearby a relative thing? We have a Coles and WW in our local shopping centre (20min walk), plus another of each that we drive past to do our fruit and veg shopping (farmer's market type place), with a further 1 of each about 7min drive away. 3 of each within 10min drive.

No aldis however. :(

Does anyone else hate that some stores close the human operated checkouts in the evening, forcing you to support self-service checkouts?

Country town .. We have a woolies/big w, BiLo, Aldi, IGA and caltex/woolies and shell. Competition is pretty good, diesel and unleaded regularly at some of the lowest prices in the state. Next Coles or woolies is about 90k away.

Haven't come across that yet but yes I would HATE that. I make a point of not using the self serves, mainly on principle, but frankly I prefer to be served by a human being.

It's good to hear that some people are still getting the $10 off or $5 off for X dollars coupons. Mine were 500 points for X dollars. It's also interesting to note that there are coupons out there with large bonuses for all weeks rather than the odd weeks being a big bonus and the even weeks being a multiple points bonus. I wonder how they target it.

Are the coupons that have a large bonus each week for people who don't shop there every week? Does this mean that the even weeks multiple points offers are for members who will shop there every week and don't need a big incentive?

Have fun with your coupons. Thanks for letting us know the deals.

I wonder whether the product based coupons are generic and can be swapped around between members. The product coupons pictured look exactly like the ones in my coupon book. I probably won't use them as I don't buy any of the products/brands on the list. The coupons attached to the weekly coupons looked targeted but the booklet ones don't.

In the coupon book, the offers say this offer has been specifically selected for you. Nothing about one use only.

I got an offer for 100 points for any item of MIX Underwear purchased at Coles. The offer can be used multiple times but in order to get 100 points on each item I need to do a separate transactions for each item. In my opinion the word underwear implies a category of clothing that includes socks and hosiery. According to the tiny terms and conditions the offer is only for various types of underpants and Mix Socks and Mix Hosiery are not included in the offer. The silly thing is that in the main part of the offer it says to go to the socks and hosiery aisle to find the Mix Underwear. This could be misleading to some people.

I'm not sure whether it's a badly worded offer from Flybuys or a poor choice of product name by Coles/Mix. I don't need any underwear at the moment and neither do my children. I might take a look at the product to see how good the price is, just in case we want to use it in the future. According to the offer Mix Underwear is on a 30% off special this week but I don't know how long this will last. The targeted offer only goes to May 7.

I know that when everyday rewards have promotions for underwear, many types of items are usually included in the offer. It's a pity there are so many definitions for the word.

I got 250 points per item. As long as they say socks are not included, I think they have themselves covered.

If socks were included then I would happily take up the offer. If 250 points is $1.25 then an overage is possible on this deal if there are MIX underwear products that sell for less than $1.25. My 100 point offer is only worth 50 cents an item so I doubt I'd be able to find an overage possibility. I am going to be buying a birthday present for someone on Friday so I might take the offer up and see what I can find.

If this offer was available at Kmart, I would have taken it up as I have seen some jocks on clearance.

Triple points at Coles from Friday to Sunday. This will go well with my docket deal I got last Friday.
