On paper, yes. But I did shop and no discount got applied.

False advertising I think....

Did you go up to the customer service counter and discuss it with them?

Happened to me once and they took $10 off my bill.

Told to call FlyBuys....

I know exactly where this is going. There will be no record of activating the offer.....

Sorry to hear you had problems with this. Please send a private message if the flybuys service centre is unable to resolve this for you.

They tapped away and gave me 2,000 points.

The systems must be getting quicker - the transaction from yesterday was already in my FlyBuys account, which may have helped given they could see it!

Got a heap of the coupons in the mail today, noticed the $10 off has been replaced by a bonus 500 points, also got a book of bonus points offers for products!

On special this week for another week to go: Huawei android phone Ascend Y201. Locked to TLS (but can provide $5 code to unlock if necessary).

Got $10 off by using 2000 Coles points and then 2500 bonus pts for buying the phone. So ended up at about $29 plus the 2000 pts.

I hope the points are included if I use $10 Coles points ... Flybuys rep plse confirm?? To ensure it added up to $30 I also bought 2 avocados.;)

I haven't received any coupons yet. I suspect that if I do receive the coupons the target spend will be too high for me, as Flybuys have been raising my qualifying spend for the last couple of weeks.

My theory is that the payment method used to purchase the goods is separate from any qualifying spend needed to get a bonus offer. I don't know the exact details of the above deal though so I'm only guessing.

Hi there, it works this way:

- if you had converted 2,000 points to flybuys dollars, then this is viewed as a payment type (as rainbow girl indicated) and is not deducted from your transaction total for qualifying purposes
- if you had gained a $10 discount off your shop by other means - eg. the offer to Coles MasterCard holders at point of sale -then this is treated as a "loyalty discount" in Coles' systems and does impact your transaction total for qualifying purposes

Sorry if this isn't as straightforward as it perhaps might be, but trust this helps.

I was in Coles Burnside today and so many of the things I wanted to buy were out of stock. Moved over to Foodland and no fly buys today.

Sometimes my flybuys predictions come true and sometimes they don't. Unfortunately this one came true. The coupons arrived today. 500 points for $80 spend on half the weeks and double points on the other half. The last time I spent $80 in one transaction, the reward was $10 off and before that the reward was $15 off. A reward equivalent of $2.50 is not enough incentive for me to spend $80 in one transaction. I'll only be getting the bare minimum at Coles for a while(super specials and products I can't get elsewhere).

I think my regular bread has just gone up at Woolworths so Coles might get most of my bread purchases.

thanks for that

500 points for spending $110 in Liquorland. Don't like my chances with this one.

Oh, well, triple points at Coles will have to do...

Triple points at Coles and First Choice...

Unless there is some great special, I am going to WW and Big W as I value my QF points more.

If Flybuys didn't get rid of the direct redemptions with QF and VA I might be interested but now I am left with the poor option of webjet...
