Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Two overlapping spend $110 get 4400 offers! Snap.

Do they overlap or just run one after the other? In any event, I’m doing one this afternoon (last day of the first promo, day before of the following one). Hoping they still both pay out.

Spend $110 = 4,400pts on 1 account
Spend $100 = 4,000pts on 2 accounts.

Will see how much the bill is before deciding which card to swipe.

No weekly offers but do have a spend $90 for 3600 bonus points Wed-Fri on both accounts.

No thanks as I'd like to keep spend targets to $50-$60.
I got same offer which I activated, not because I intend to use it but to teach the algo I don't make use of the offer. Does that make sense?

While your statement is in theory true I’ve been paid out twice in two weeks in exactly this scenario! While the wording says starts tomorrow that’s not what happened in practice.
I always do the overlapping shop after 5pm on the last day of the expiring offer - just in case it is 'business day' related. Works for me. Only use it one one account as they're always for either $70 or $80 vs $50 4 wk offers we harvest.

@burmans is giving us great hope that they will. Good to know!

Another spend $90 for 3600 bonus points next 4 days on both accounts.

Haven't spent anything at Coles. Hoping for another 4 week promotion.

Last week: spend $160 Wed-Fri for 6400 points.
This week: spend $170 Wed-Fri for 6800 points.

I normally shop on a Saturday but happy to bring my shop forward by a day with these offers!

As Coles slowly ups your weekly hurdle amount, so next 4x week offer gets them an extra $40 or $80 spending.

I had $120 for 4800 points last week, this week its $130 for 5200 points. I did the one last week because Woolies wasn't offering anything good.

My husband had $90/2000 last week, this week $100/4000 points. We didn't do it.

I'm waiting to see what the 4 week offers are on Friday, then I will decide where to shop.

You're absolutely right, but I know how to play the game.

When the time comes when I don't meet the amount they want from my normal shopping, I'll start to shop at Woolies for a month or two before the amount Coles wants comes down again.

The fact is, though, that 6000 points for a spend of less than $200 is quite a good deal so I'll take advantage of it as long as it's advantageous for me to do so!

Yes, what suits one may not suit another.

A spend of $200/wk over 4 weeks for us yields 40,000 points (4 x 4 @$50 hurdles). We value the FlyBuys (VFF) points much more highly than WR (QFF) points due to the easier redemptions with low (almost non-existent compared with QFF) added on 'fees & taxes'.

We've never been unable to redeem J return seats to Europe in our desired travelling window, and even when going for the Unicorn (2x SIA 1st on the cusp of European summer) we managed to get the exact dates and preferred flights. Mind you, 12+ hours for The Prviate Room could have been shortened (allthough we did get to see for ourselves breakfast/lunch/dinner there) and is not high on our priorities to repeat.

In comparison QFF redemptions (for lowly plebs), is akin for the ATO admitting a mistake by them, for 1st or business return to the US or Europe.

Equally, WW seems to have become far meaner in their offers over the last 5 years.
