Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

My offer needs min $70 per transaction, in 4 weeks, for 10,000 FB points.
Some have mentioned min $60 per transaction, in 4 weeks, for 10,000 FB points.
Seems that there is some one where that decides, on some parameters, on what to offer to different FB members.
Have had the $120 buy it in one shop, for 2000 FB points.

I'd love a $50 a week for 4 weeks for 10,000 - I haven't had anything like that for so long

Wife spend $50/week for 4 weeks for 10000 bonus points.

Me spend $60/week for 4 weeks for 10000 bonus points.

My account is getting close to a return SQ airfare to Thailand. Not bad for a couple of years saving.

It is calculated by an algorithm that looks into peak spend, trends in regular spend, number of items spent on etc etc.

Simple rules:

1) Never be tempted to put through a single transaction above $50 if you can help it, split your spend into two amounts with one as close to $50 as you can calculate it, and the other the remainder (as long as no transaction is more than $1 or so above $50.
2) Don't be tricked into spending a higher amount to get a one-off 2,000 point single shop hurdle, otherwise you've just accepted the FB equivalent to the credit card credit limit game. CC game = increase credit limit to a level where the account holder can no longer pay it off in full each month. Now much harder due to having to opt-in for increased limit offers.
3) Do not get addicted to using your FB card(s) for every transaction. Absence does make the Algoritm grow fonder of you vs it ignores 'loyal' addicted spenders.

Some couples/families etc would rather receive 10K offers @ $50 spend over multiple accounts than simply get one offer of 10K with a $120 spend hurdle. So missing out on a handful of points by not scanning on a non-10K shop or splitting your transaction across 2 accounts or just missing out on the points for the spend above $50 is far more rewarding.

Putting pets name as a FB family member.
Must work, eh?
I know, I don't have any pets, but my closest RSPCA is far from where I live, and I don't drive.
So, ahem, is there a real benefit of putting Rebecca Cat Meow as a FB family member?

Does she have an AMEX companion card as well?

No, I don't have any pets.
No AMEX either, only the QTMC.
Used to have the VGW.
In a way, I guess that its ok to have a pet on the family's FB account, as he/she has to eat and use pellets too.
But its a good earner, my local Bunnings has taken over 2.5 whole ailses, from what used to be garden stuff, and put in pet supplies instead.
Plant support sticks and tripods, etc, that has halved in quantities for sale!

For earning FBs - possibly. For creating a VFF account - probably not. Many reports in recent past of people being asked to substantiate VFF 'family' accounts.

There's playing the system and then there's breaking the system.

Any relatives who do not do FBs & who'd not mind if you created a FB account using their name & your address?

Flybuys IT is often worse than the QF attempts. JUsualy wait ~ 4 days before my activity shows up. Get reminders to do my weeks spend on a multi week offer 3 days after I have done the weeks shop.
As well my multi week offers come by email and don't show up on the app until I make the first weeks shop. then after 2 weeks come up as ended until I do the third week shop.

Two offers;
- $50 x 4 weeks for 10,000 points
- $100 x 4 weeks for 10,000 points.

Very happy with the $50 offer.
