OK the last I added because off the top of my head couldn't think of number 8 though some would have said Adam Goodes.

People rather than peoples, though.

I vote for it to be a "Blankety Blanks All-Stars" series:
Graham Kennedy
Ugly Dave Gray
Noeline Brown
Stuart Wagstaff
Carol Raye
Noel Ferrier
Barry Creyton
Abigail
etc etc

I'd like to see a bit of lurid orange carpet or decoration somewhere, just for old times' sake, and given it would be a step back in time to the 70s, maybe some old-school pictures of Captain Cook on board too.

Yes I meant peoples.
Such as Arrernte, Kaurna, Kulin, Murrawarri, Ngunnawal, Nyoongar, Pitjantjatjara, Tharawal, Tiwi and Yorta Yorta.
And I was wrong. Not only can I name 8 I can name at least 10!

And we have a winner.

Yeah, nah: Qantas named its planes what?

Australia’s most famous bush kangaroo will grow wings next year — when Qantas sends Skippy into the sky on the side of a new 787 Dreamliner.

The cute star of the long-running television series has been revealed as one of the eight “Australian icons” to be honoured as the names of the latest Qantas fleet.

Travellers can also look forward to boarding the flying “quokka”, taking off on the “boomerang” or getting airborne with “Waltzing Matilda”.

VH-ZNG has been pictured carrying a name not in the original list - Jillaroo

(Thread necro but this seemed the most appropriate one)

Nice that you generally can’t see the names from inside the aircraft.

I always liked the aircraft with plaques inside, but this seems few and far between these days

(Maybe they don't want a plaque showing delivery date!)
