Hi All,

I'm presently staying at Crowne Plaza Norwest and am wondering if someone could reccomend some reasonably priced restaraunts nearby. I have access to transport.

Thanks,

JtK.

If you turn right at the roundabout, when leaving the CP, on to Norwest Boulevard, in less than half a KM on the right you'll see offices and shops which form around Norwest Lake. There are several restaurants around the "lake", last time I was there I dined at an OK Indian Restaurant. Prices seemed OK. They are within pretty easy walking distance.

Golden Lake Chinese is right opposite Maharaja Indian (i think that's the one TonyHancock talks of above), both are superb and reasonably priced.
There's also a couple of Italian places on the lake that are also quite good, no need to book through the week.
All within walking distance of the CP.

The shopping centre they are referring to is Norwest Marketown. There is Macdonalds, Gloria Jeans, foodcourts, plus the Chinese Golden Lake restaurant and Maharaja. There is also Coles if you need it.

I would recommened the seafood shop next to Macdonalds. They have some good takeaways.

Yes there is also a number of nice italian restaurants around the lake.

If you care to venture a teensy bit further down the road, there's a lot of good restaurants in Castle Towers Piazza - including three that will give you Qantas FF points when you dine there.

Castle Towers would be pretty far for walking though (almost 5 kms away). But if OP can get there then Criniti's Castle Hill is a good place to eat.
