On Saturday I flew HBA-XSYD-ADL and on Sunday ADL-xMEL-HBA. Apropos nothing in particular, but as one who isn't slow to grizzle when things go wrong, I note:

Every flight:

* Boarded on time (meaning within 5 mins of schedule) with priority boarding 'working'

* Was fully boarded & door closed 5 - 15 minutes prior to scheduled push back. Ex-SYD we were kept waiting to push back for abt 10 mins after scheduled time

* WiFi worked no problem

* Was full in J, save one flight where there was 1 vacant seat (beside me)

* Had a good cabin crew & the last 2 flights, with Brenden as the CSM on both, was excellent

* Offer of meal every sector; the only one I took was breakfast of eggs & bacon ADL-MEL and I have to say it was one of the better breakfasts I've had on an Australian domestic flight - hot, not dried out, plated nicely and better than many hotel e&bs I've had. Other sectors I just had wine with cheese & bikkies or coffee with biscuits.

* I was watching stuff on my phone most of the time and the flights passed quickly

* Final flight was B737-800, which I love.

* Landed on time

Sort of like BC - they were nice, uneventful, reliable flights; delivered what was expected, no hassle no glitches. Made better with TSCs which landed within an hour of each flight; 660 total for $1.64/SC

On Saturday I flew MEL-OOL and the flight was 40 minutes late business was full, 2 choices of meal was good, beer and water refills were available regularly without prompting, but only after I asked for a glass of water.

Triple SC arrived the next morning when I woke up.

For a second, I though this was on the Qantas forum, and I was going to troll: "Wrong forum, you were meant to post to the virgin forum". Then I realised...
