I can provide a link to signup where if you actually deposit $9 you will get $99 in bonus bets as well as the 5000 points if anyone is interested let me know.

Thanks MC! Anyway around the restrictions of not NSW, Vic, SA & WA?

edit- other conditions suggest it's targeted. Thanks anyway!

Sorry yes, that's right for those states, but you will get $15 bonus rather than the $99 apparently.
The offer isnt targeted, so anyone can sign up.

I have a link for ladbrokes, similar bonus bet deal (deposit $25 and get $125 in bonus bets) and applies to all states (once you call them up) I wont post it here as it cant convert to velocity points though. but if your still interested then PM me.

And yes new accounts only, but if you have only signed up for the rewards account and haven't used the betting side you should be able to make a whole new login for both, but I haven't had to do that so would have to check it out for yourself

As per the PM, Its a signup link ive been sent from an account manager, I dont benefit from the link directly, username is to verify the bonuses were done correctly as they have issues at times, I dont gain anything from it, they will sometimes give me a bonus bet of $5 or $10 if I get a few people sign up at the same time, but I dont get any money or such from it. Ill remove the post if you want by I really dont benefit from it

While I am not sure that the CrownBet bonus bets are structured the same as others in the industry, some of bonus offers have hoops to jump through. No doubting mooingchicken but a google search soon finds many disgruntled punters-this is a link that outlines how "free" & "bonus" are not necessarily how you would interpret the terms ACCC takes action against Bet365 online betting agency for alleged misleading 'Free' and 'Bonus' offers | ACCC

This probably isnt the right forum for this discussion, but yes it isnt "free money" different companies have different rules, some you have to turn it over twice at odds over $1.50 each time. Sportsbet and Crown are the better ones for it and doesn't have a turn over requirement, but u only get back the odds of what you bet, ie you bet a $50 bonus bet, on $1.50 odds u only get $25 of actual money. if it was $4 odds then u get $150. Other ones like bet365 and such have the turnover requirments

Anyone had the 5000 Crown points posted yet? Looks like they have turned the tap off

I signed my husband up on Sunday, got an email saying there was a problem and they couldn't be awarded automatically and he needed to call. Decided that was too hard so ignored it. Another email arrived on Monday saying welcome, I check his account and the points were there. They were in his velocity account (and subsequently my Krisflyer account and spent!) yesterday.

They are still advertising $50 reward points on the television as of last night

Update: My husband joined Saturday evening, points came through the Sunday morning and transferred to Velocity where they posted Monday around noon. I joined on Sunday after I saw he got his 5000 points, my 5000 points posted in 10 minutes. transferred to Velocity and posted the following day around noon. Final outcome-5000 points pooled to my account!

Just signed my wife up and got the points within a few mins... Told her I'd cancel her account onces points hit Velocity.

Hi Everyone,

This looks like a great offer, but I am hesitant to sign up due to the fact that they ask for your mobile number. Are they going to use this to bombard me will telemarketing calls?

Thanks

You are welcome to use my mobile number 0400000000. I used it in my application and have not received any calls from them.

While not quite as blatant I must admit to mistyping my phone no too (4 times even).

No calls but quite a few SMS's

I don't recall being asked for mobile number, but if it was required I would have entered it, in which case I can report having received no spam calls or texts since joining (or emails for that matter).

You could enter a fake number if you are concerned.

Joined up one family member this morning a little after 9am - no points received yet.

Very confusing (to me at least) joining Crown Rewards vs CrownBet Rewards etc etc.
