I had to email them about the missing points. Credit to them, they replied quickly even though it was past midnight and credited me the points.

Late to the bandwagon, but just signed up and

On live chat, I was advised:

There is a current linking error between your rewards account and CrownBet. We will escalate this to Crown's IT team to fix. Please allow up to 5 days for this to be fixed, thanks in advance for your patience.

I asked if it would happen for other accounts:

Yes, at the moment the rewards system is down, so I would advise for [mrs excel] to sign up tomorrow some time.

Hopefully this helps.

Great promo - saw this one on the AFF Email. Signed up myself and the points were received and transferred nice and quickly. Now signing up family members and have the same problem as exceladdict. Hopefully it will fix itself tomorrow and I can finish the job. 10k VFF points are not to be sneezed at.

Thanks AFF for the email and the OP for alerting us to the opportunity.

I just had a look after I wrote my previous post and its all linked up now YaYYY!!!!

A quick chat session with Crown Rewards fixed up Miss Aus ATC, Mrs and Master both went through without a hitch..... Now just to sweep the points into my account!

Yyyyeeessss.

Ater contacting Crown Rewards for the 3rd time this morning points came through instantly.

Transferred to VFF.

I guess I will keep the account and do any future betting from here. May as well get some points if I do.

Thanks for the heads up OP.

Good luck to everyone else.

Note though that the Crown system will pick up duplicate Mobile Numbers.
So if you use a number already used your account may get locked.

Hmmm. My family's accounts are currently reporting: "Your account is currently disabled. You can contact customer service on 13 CROWNBET (13 2769) for more details."

And yes - used the same number for each. No VFF points to sweep yet (and I suspect none to be seen now).

Very surprised it didn't pick up my 0400 000 000 number then. Particularly when i used that number more than once.

If you used it more than once, then yes.

Then again you may have just been lucky with the person that reviewed your duplicate account. Some "ëyeballs" are thorough, and some not.

I was lucky enough to get 5000 points, and used the same number on mine and my wife's new crown account and transferred the points across to my velocity account immediately. When using it on my sons account and waiting to swap family pooling over on velocity, crownbet have picked up the common mobile number, disabled my account and when I rang told me it was company discretion to suspend my account and not allow me to have another crownbet account...ever. At least I got 5K in points.

If you've already got the points out you'd probably not care much about the account getting locked, saves you needing to cancel yourself.

Yeh...but I posted the warning for others as Crown are evidently not posting the points as quickly now.
