Free ALL Gold Status for QF Silver or above - also Points Club Plus

Can confirm that I'm now Gold with Accor All. I did not receive an email about the status uplift. I read this thread and I logged into the All account to check and voila Gold till Dec 2023.

I'm wondering if choosing a previous "Gold status match" offer has precluded this new offer being implemented? When I log in, my account is still showing how many nights/points I need to attain Gold. I guess I will out find either way in a few days.

So I was silver when I registered for this promo, but achieved Gold based on stays a week later. My gold expires 30/6 2023 (which is when my Plus membership expires) wonder if I will have mine extended until 31/12/23?

That’s the expectation.

I was already Gold but so far no extension from Dec 22 to Dec 23.

Like everything QF status extension wise, it's never fair to all parties so maybe those existing Gold won't be extended to 12/23 if they don't requalify the legit program way.

As someone posted, Acor Gold the new silver Acor so assuming little value next 16 months.

Sure except i wasnt Gold at the time I opted in for this offer, its only a disadvantage given tardy processing of the offer. Wnen they handed out free silver it was immediate.

Note that based on spend (and i didnt buy any suites) it was possible to achieve gold by staying 9 nights / earning 8.5k points, so yes not that hard to do.

The August IHG status match was simpler and better value. IHG gave you free platinum upfront for 3 months, (if you held silver or above with a competitors program, no proof requested) then you just needed to stay 5 nights to keep it. As I stayed 16 nights (only needed 15) I now have Diamond elite until Dec 2023, and with the up to 4x points bonuses earned ~120k points. All my nights were booked (and 4/16 nights fully paid for) months in advance of this offer, yet still qualified (no new booking ninsense).

I'm in the same boat.

Mine hasn’t ticked over to Gold yet … anyone else in the same boat?

Also no. Account shows it's linked to Qantas but still Silver. I applied early on, but not immediately when it was announced.

Mine is silver.
T & C's say can take up to 28 days after closing of offer which was 12th August so might be up until the middle of September

I received my email confirmation from Qantas on 5 Aug and received my Gold membership this morning (or at least overnight).

Do find it a bit odd that I was checking the app (and this forum!) rather than receiving an email from Accor welcoming me on board. Compared w the recent IHG status match where I received a 'congrats' email from IHG, which meant I knew I'd been successful...

That’s just the norm for Accor from my experience. The first time I found out we were Diamond status was when when we checked in one day and were welcomed as Diamond members. I checked the app and sure enough it had the updated card. We then got a letter and welcome pack with a gift a few weeks later and then about a week after that we got a email congratulating us on Diamond status 🤣

mine has upgraded to GOLD.
Don't think I've ever been on the Accor website, surprised my password worked.

Stayed at the Mantry on Murray in Perth earlier this week. Have only stayed at this property once before (a single night) and had this pleasant surprise in my room.

Was only ALL silver before this offer and when I saw this in my room I checked and saw that I had been upgraded to Gold. Not sure if this was a gift because of gold or because of other reasons but was a nice touch
