Remember that Amb/R.Amb benefits like guaranteed Suite Upgrades and Exec lounge access generally only apply at Intercontinental Hotels.

For other Priority Club branded hotels its as for "Gold" / "Platinum"; nice to be upgraded and get these but not guaranteed.

Suites are nice when they happen, but there are only a handful of Holiday Inns and Crowne Plazas that have Exex lounges :(
 
Its only a new feature in the last year or so, and is consistently applied in APAC/OCEANIA by all accounts.

Except for Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong, Bali ...

My point is that it's not a guaranteed benefit. It for years used to be given at some ICs but not all. Nice when it happens but!
