QF51 equipment change to 787

Looks like QF has scheduled 787s for QF51 next week... is this because of ongoing MX issues with the 330 fleet?

Interestingly, Qantas is not selling Premium Economy on these flights. Presumably this means you could book Economy and choose a PE seat, although I just tried making a dummy booking on the Qantas website and seat selection wasn't available at all.

That’s exactly how I found out. Managed to select to PE seats for the 27th.

Nice!! When I was flying that those planes were ALWAYS jam packed! The ability to book premium economy would very much be welcomed!

Yes, well, those seats are already taken I'm afraid.

I checked EF, they are occupied. The bulkhead PE seats were blocked, but a kind lady allocated them to me.

As far as I can tell, my options are:

• PE bulkhead seats in the middle with no bassinet
• Y bulkhead seats with bassinet

All of the non bulkhead PE are marked "not for infant" so I am unable to select those even if I wanted to.
