I will enter please. Very kind of you.

Edit: Sorry just read fully and saw the 3 month thing. Next time.

StayGoldPonyboy, it is usual to place a caveat as members like to give preference to existing members, obviously. But hang in there - you will soon "qualify" and there will be more offers no doubt :)

found that gifting the P1 passes to family/friends is in the end actually painful - people who do not understand these things very well also do not appreciate them either

cheers juddles for the kind words

life indeed is interesting- from a WA point-of-view, I reckon it's due to either the tyranny of distance or happenstance...
  • most of my mates are QF WP, and are generally not too fussed about lounges
  • the friends and family who are not frequent flyers prefer to travel SQ (and easily have the means to do so)
  • almost all seem to prefer spending less, rather than more time in an airport (!)
  • haven't come across many that are heading to the LOTFAP
  • most holidays involve Bali/SE Asia/Europe - for which transitting via HKG/SIN/KUL (if flying oneworld) gets them there quicker
I used to get strange looks when I suggested re-routing from PER-xx_, to PER-SYD-xx_ just to "check out the cool QF Flounge in SYD!" - horses for courses indeed

That is a very refreshing thing, even though I do not exactly understand it?

ermmm... there is a reason to the madness 😬

I can't afford to pay for J tickets outright and have had to scramble for award seats as soon as released (for entire family). I can really empathise with what a PAIN it is, to plan so far out and strain for the stars to align (married sectors, transit times, child jet lag). My hope is that we can at least try include the folks out there who travel this "way".

I guess I still have my rose-tinted glasses on - yeah there will be folks of different shapes and sizes motives and needs, yet I myself was a newbie not too long ago... we've all gotta start somewhere eh. hopefully we all pay it forward in our own ways

I'll go into the draw please for a son heading off on his right of passage great Australian working backpacking holiday
great stuff mate for looking out for him. all the best and hope he has a great trip too.

Thanks OP - extremely generous of you. It's been donkeys since I last saw the inside of the First Class lounge. Pls count me in.

What a great way to be generous ecst. May I also go into the hat plse as I’m about to book some less than wanky flights.

Very generous offer.
I'd like to throw my hat into the ring as well please. I have a 4 hour wait at Syd International on Saturday the 28th, and I'd love to use the FLounge there.

Wow, many thanks for your generosity! I would love to put my hat into the ring as well. A chance to go to the F lounge is on my bucket list but totally out of reach!

Wow that is really generous!
I will enter please for my very close friend who flys international out from Melbourne.

Indeed a generous offer and I too would like to register an interest for the passes for a USA trip in November.

Very nice of you. I would like to throw my hat into the ring for MrsMac please, she is off to NZ in October. In the event we win she can only use one, so please draw another lucky AFF member out as well. If they aren’t splittable into 2 singles please leave us out of the draw. Thanks again

Don't see many of these too often.

Count me in. Indeed very generous as much upthread have commented :)
