Thanks for the kind offer "ecst". I'm in also thanks.
Could put them to good use in November (Sydney/Jakarta) for myself and wife.

Thanks everyone for the compliments -- I've liked your comments as a token of acknowledgment

Just to add some feedback - this may require some planning esp. if you are new to QFF as:
  • these invites can only be transferred directly to a QFF member
  • the Frequent Flyer membership number must be present in the booking to link to an eligible Qantas flight
  • the invite needs to be linked online to an eligible Qantas flight at least 24 hours before departure

Also, reading between the lines, it looks like only myself will have the access to transfer this to the actual recipient - you may not be able to retransfer these later on. might cause some minor hitches in the scenarios eg:
  • relatives/mates are flying oneworld/codeshare but don't have a QFF membership no
  • trying to onsell these on eBay (don't bother) 😬

Thanks ecst, all understood and agreed.

Sincere thanks ecst for the heads up on restrictions. My special and dear friend is QF gold and doesn't understand why I aim for higher each year and I really want to show him why :) . He does have eligible flights and can make use of the passes.

I am glad to see you have defined your rules. P1 invites do come up on this site every now and again and they are popular, I have given away a couple in the past. As you are most likely aware they can only be used on QF flights out of SYD, MEL and LAX, SIN in the future? so no code share or OW out of the mentioned airports. I would not hesitate to ask any recipient to evidence the flight they plan to use them. In addition as you have the persons QFF details, number and surname only SST can cancel the transfer and reinstate them to your account.

Apart from that well done on your generosity I have a couple at the moment that I will not use so these may end up here I am just waiting to hear back from my folks on if they would use them.

Wow so awesome! Would love to be considered :)

Ooh yes please! We will be booking very Y seats to Japan next year and some time in the FLounge, which I never expect to see, would be THE BEST way to start the trip.

Thanks for this very generous offer ecst. Can I please throw my hat in the ring?

indeed - very much looking forward to the new SIN Flounge when we transit in Xmas ;););)

I wanted to specially mention and thank you for your valued feedback to date, @Matt_01. I'm quite new to this process; and am trying to find a balance between "my quick summary some of QF's rules" -vs- "expecting folks to do their own homework..."

In any case, please feel free to post/add any feedback or general observations relating to this - I am sure your insights would be greatly appreciated

Very nice of you. I would like to throw my hat into the ring for MrsMac please, she is off to NZ in October. In the event we win she can only use one, so please draw another lucky AFF member out as well. If they aren’t splittable into 2 singles please leave us out of the draw. Thanks again

cheers @maccaisking for the heads up and details, really appreciate the gesture.

I'll work something out in the code if that eventuates... fun & games indeed! :D

Big thank you for the generous offer and committing the time and energy. Kindly place my hat in the ring.

It will make a wonderful start to an upcoming Syd-Sin trip on QF

Thank you for the gracious offer @ecst! I'd like to throw my hat into the ring too! My wife and I will be visiting Japan in February next year with a few nights in Hong Kong  (I know!) before we fly to Haneda.

An incredible offer and throwing my hat into the ring also as I'd love my partner to experience the FLounge
