The westerlies in SYD on Friday 27 May 2016 that restricted runway operations to 07 saw GA715, the 1025 SYD to DPS take off at 1155 with arrival forecast for about 1640, two hours late. Aircraft is A333 PK-GPW.

GA716, the 0800 hours Friday 3 June arrival in MEL ex CGK and its return, which is showing on a website as 'GA717Z' not just 'GA717' (the 1530 hours ex MEL) have been cancelled.

Sunday 5 June 2016 sees GA716 arriving in SYD at about 0820 hours, 55 minutes late, ex DPS with aircraft A333 PK-GHA.

On Wednesday 8 June 2016, GA715, the 1025 SYD to DPS took off at 1042 but with A333 PK-GPZ as its aircraft will not arrive until about 1520 hours, 40 minutes late, as there may be substantial headwinds slowing it down.

The 1025 SYD to DPS, GA 715 on Friday 10 June was airborne at 1119 and should be at the Bali gate at about 1558, 78 minutes late, with aircraft A333 PK-GHA.

GA715 on Thursday 16 June (1025 hours SYD - DPS, A333 PK-GHA) took off at 1108 and should be at the DPS terminal gate at roughly 1541, 61 minutes late.

GA715 was again delayed today, taking off at 1112, with arrival in DPS ex SYD expected at 1530 hours, 50 minutes late.

Aircraft is PK-GHA as was the case on Thursday 16. Interesting to note its consecutive use.

GA713, the Saturday 18 June 1100 SYD - CGK took off at 1135 but arrival of A333 Pk-GPL is not expected until about 1634, 49 minutes late, presumably due to a headwind that is resulting in the plane travelling at an indicated groundspeed of 674 kilometres an hour over central Australia.

GA715 (SYD - DPS) will be 33 minutes late in arriving at 1513. PK-GHA is the A333 for at least the third consecutive day.

Once more, GA715 is delayed, this time on Sunday 19 June with takeoff from SYD at 1120 of A333 PK-GHA being about 35 minutes late; arrival in DPS is suggested as 1535, 55 minutes late. PK-GHA is a regular visitor to our shores as previous entries above demonstrate.

On a windy Thursday 30 June in MEL with a north wind gusting up to 57 kilometres an hour, GA716 is arriving ex CGK at about 0836, 36 minutes late with A333 PK-GPM.

Tuesday 2 August sees GA715 (1025 SYD - DPS) having taken off at 1503 with arrival estimated at 1529, 49 minutes behind time. PK-GHA is the A333.

Yesterday among others JQ and TT flights were cancelled due to an ash cloud emanating from Mt Rinjani, but media are reporting that the atmosphere is sufficiently clear today to enable flights to resume which is good news for holidaymakers stranded overnight.

On Monday 8 August, GA719 (A330 PK-GPT), the 0900 hours MEL - DPS took off late at 0959 hours and so should arrive at roughly 1357 this afternoon, 42 minutes late.

Tuesday 9 August 2016 is windy in MEL with GA718 ex DPS arriving at about 0846, 106 minutes late with A333 PK-GPT. The plane did not take off until 0148 hours this morning despite a departure time of 2330 on Monday 8 August.

Unlike last week when it was merely late, GA718 that normally arrives in MEL on Tuesday mornings has been cancelled. The Tuesday 16 August 0900 back to DPS ex MEL, GA719, naturally will also not operate.

On Sunday 21 August 2016, GA715 (1025 SYD - DPS) took off at 1057 with A333 PK-GHC estimated to arrive at about 1531, 51 minutes behind the schedule.

Thursday 13 October sees GA716 from CGK arriving in MEL about 31 minutes behind schedule at 0931. Aircraft is A332 PK-GPL.

On Sunday 16 October, the Saturday 15 GA714 (2330 hours from DPS down to SYD that took off at 0115 on Sunday) is arriving at about 0935, 70 minutes late. PK-GHD is the A333.

Colleague GA716, the identically timed 2330 hours from DPS to MEL took off at 0142. Instead of its 0800 hours timetabled arrival it should be at the gate at 0943 with its conveyance PK-GPW.

On Sunday 23 October, GA716, the overnight from CGK to MEL should arrive at about 0940 hours, 40 late: plane is A332 PK-GPS.

GA714, the 2330 hours redeye from DPS to SYD on Sunday 23 October did not take off until 0015 on Monday 24, so arrival of A333 PK-GPX is forecast for approximately 0905, 40 minutes tardy.
