I see that Garuda is offering a 100% bonus on points purchases. Has anyone taken up the offer? Also, how easy is it to redeem these points for Sky Team partners? Thanks. T-i-K

AFF published a very brief article on the Garuda FF program which stated that: “To redeem Garuda Miles, the Garuda website says that have to fill out an award ticket fromand physically visit a Garuda Indonesia sales office. (In Australia, Garuda has CBD office locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.) If you don’t live near a Garuda office, you could try calling their call centre.”

No 100% bonus could ever incentivise me to endure such an archaic redemption.

I've purchased the 100% bonus before and it's quite efficient. They use points.com so it can take up to 3 days for the points to be in your account.

If you're after Garuda Airlines redemptions then it's quite easily done on their app or website. There are Sky team airline redemptions but I haven't been able to find much like Virgin Atlantic.

Quite easy to book and cancel Garuda Airlines redemptions. Keep in mind that they will deduct 20% of your points if you do cancel a redemption. Taxes and fees were reimbursed.

I noticed that myself just yesterday! MU award seats have disappeared from both QF and DL and I was trying to work out what other ST partner airlines had visibility (I’d already seen plenty of award seats directly on MU but also AF/KL), so I knew they were there and was pondering if buying some points and redeeming would make sense noting the Kings Ransom MU charge foreigners booking from outside the Great Firewall…
